I bought the same color 09 R1 as you back in January 2010. I found your vids after searching for youtube vids in Nov and Dec of 2009. I literally crashed my R1 the same exact day you crashed (Gravel at Angeles Crest) and awas hospitalized for 5 days with 5 broken ribs and a punctured lung. The first bike I thought of after getting rid of my R1 was the 09 6R, but then I decided to get another litre bike. I'm waiting til Sept for the '11 models to come out so I can buy a gixxer k9 cheap. Hey sweet ride and an excellent choice. (best in class 600cc bike). Did you get it new or used? If it was new I hope you were able to talk the dealer out of not paying for the frieght charge.
