@likemindedincident: In fact, the goal of this event was to share the different relationships that people have with feminism and their varying needs based on their identities. Not everyone agreed that feminism was inclusive, in fact I believe all mentioned that is was not. Please look up some of the fabulous women who were on this panel. They are working independently and/or with organizations that are really challenging past feminisms and working to engage all people in the conversations
@Likemindedincident Feminisms goal to is challenge the structural norms that have placed women at the bottom of the social, political and economic spheres. Though I agree feminism in the past has not always been inclusive of all peoples, including women of color, the lGBTQ community, people with impairments and such, feminists today are working more towards intersectionality and acknowledging and working for the varying needs of people which includes fighting against stereotypes of masculinity.
I dig it, thanks for posting this, as I intended on going an was not able to make it to the event. I hope to go to the next event lead by this same group of strong-minded individuals! Spread the word and get people to not only think more about this discussion but to act out on their beliefs!

Feminism does not advocate equality for all, its achievements do not work out that way either.
