Hey all, why not show your support and visit the original creators webpage and check out the two games that everyone knew and loved which was "Hybris" and "Battle Squadron", they are re-releasing them onto new platforms such as Ipad and Android etc.. Battle Squadron is almost ready and Hyrbris will be next. Go and say Hi to the legends 'Martin Pedersen' & 'Torben Larsen' and the music god 'Paul Van Der Valk' & 'Ron Klaren' etc
haha how I loved to play this game as a kid!!! what a great soundtrack!! still remember if you typed CASTOR in the begging you had access to all weapons if you pressed the F keys
schtolteheim. can i ask what did you own instead of an amiga? i owned one from 1990-1994. it was pretty good i thoguth. maybe the snes and megadrive had many high quality shooters and beat'em ups but the amiga was a home computer that tried to do other things as well as games. also the snes and megadrive used catridges which they could adapt and improve on as time went by. floppy disks can only store 1 megabyte each. thats it
looks awesome can i get this for my pc?

cheers for the longplay. is it possible for someone to submit a longplay if you'r not part of your site?
e1doller 1 year ago
@e1doller
Everyone can - as long as it adheres to our quality standards :)
If you arent sure how to do that - go to our IRC chat and ask us :)
Its better to do that before starting - to avoid us rejecting it :)

Hmm looks like Swiv it is from the same team? Great game and music
numerosduos 3 years ago
According to hol(dot)abime(dot)net, SWIV was developed by Random Access. Battle Squadron by Cope-com.
Shooters do tend to look alike, though :-)
I recall SWIV having lots more shadows (making it look semi-3D), but this one seems to use more variety in colours. For an OCS game, it looks great.

Wtf, the music reeks of euro trash. It sounds as awful as music by Infogrames made for the gameboy.
The Amiga is full of this shit, I do not regret never owning one.

Just wondering - if you hate this "Amiga shit", why are you watching it and even comment on it?
Sounds like someone has mental problems ;)

I must confess the Amiga possibly offered the best jack-off software of it's time.

The Amiga was without a doubt the greatest gaming computer ever released in the history of electronics.
Only Amiga makes it possible!

This makes me so nostalgic, I had so much fun playing this game back then, even better playing cooperative with a friend.
Although I think I liked "SWIV" better (the one with a tank and a helicopter), I don't know if anyone else agrees with me.
Thanks for the video. Keep up the good work.
