  • @FearLancer2: It was called the Scorpion Shipyard.

  • Baltar and Caprica Six are my favorites.

Both got played but both ending up being the keys to salvation. <3

  • saul stood by his word. Traitors will be killed

  • Tyrol: "This is crazy. Ya know, we need to figure out whose side we're on."

Tigh (while rolling a blunt): "Which side are we on? We're on the side of the demons, Chief. We're evil men in the gardens of paradise, sent by the forces of death to spread devestation and destruction wherever we go. I'm suprised you didn't know that."

  • I remember this one... Fantastic to hear it alone BUT if you see it on tv with the situation you cant belive how epic it can be =D

  • Does anyone know the name of the song that was playing in the background right before the Pegasus showed up behind Galactica?

  • @semitar6 Storming new caprica

  • In season 3 it felt like they were going nowhere as far as Earth was concerned, as opposed to season 2. In season 3, they took everyone and put them is the worst places possible. What happened in the second episode of season 3 with Baltar having a gun put to his head and Colonel Tigh poisoning Ellen in the fourth episode would eventually come to a head during the trial of Baltar in the season 3 finale. Season 3 was the darkest of all.

  • @Northwro To be honest I disliked the shift away from the outer space action in season 3, and there were a few to many obvious filler episodes in season 4, but none the less, great stuff - season 2 was my favourite for action :)

  • @BlackValkyire You're exactly right. Season 2 was the best out of all four seasons and they were never able to top it. I heard the reason for the shift away from the action scenes in Season 3 was because they spent a big chunk of their effects budget money on the New Caprica Rescue scenes. I just hope the new BSG: Blood and Chrome series lives up to its predecessor.

  • @Northwro yeah and i hope that they have every battlestar concept that was ever mad by the BSG shipyards or what ever the site name i cant think of it, but it has all of the conecept art of Vipers, shuttles, everything :D so many battlestar concepts its crazy

  • Saul Tigh knows what he has to do, but is very gentle about it. It's not an easy scene to watch, nor is it a scene without it's beauty. The music is pin-point perfect with this scene. Bear, again, hats off to you.

  • capolavoro!

  • This moment in BSG is made even the more sad in the fact that this wasn't the first time Saul and Helen had been married....they had been while they lived on Earth, the nuked one, thousands of years ago....

  • this song makes me hurt inside! yes the had some relationship issues but they had pure love for each other, that could never be replaced. this is the moment in the series i def cant keep my eyes dry. beautiful music

  • The episode featuring this track was the high point of season 3, and overall one of the best episodes in the entire series. Not coincidentally, this is one of McCreary's best compositions for the show, and this particular arrangement is the most moving and beautiful. Yes, it is a lot like "Worthy of Survival" because it is the same piece with a simpler instrument arrangement, almost no percussion.

  • helen was jarring, baltair was so selfish he was funny

  • This guy is a great composer. Wish i heard of him sooner.

  • Are you sure you're 34? You seem terribly immature for your age.

  • @antred11 Snap! LOL.

  • frak this is a good song, makes me feel for Col. Tigh.

  • baltar is not the guy to hate... that old bag roselyn is the one to hate... as far as i am concerned all she did was screw up.. CONSTANTLY.... and would only settle for wat she wanted... BEAUTIFUL song.. i haven't bought a cd in many years but i think i might buy bears

  • maroman80 - Roslin saved everyone from day one. Adama said it. Had he chosen to fight the Cylon's from day one they'd all be dead. Roslin, to me, saved the human race and Adama did as well by being open to a differing opinion. They did it together. Calling her an old bag pretty much negates your comment but I had to respond. As to Tigh, the scene was heartwrenching. I always wished he'd have found a way to just hide her somewhere or keep her alive. He was a true/good SOLDIER for sure.

  • @maroman80 Roslin was the eternal voice of reason. She was practical and extremely ethical at the same time, a very contradictery character but one who almost always made the right choices. To quote Tigh, "sometimes I don't know if you've got ice-water in those veins or if you're just a naive little school teacher". The fleet would have collapsed without her. Not anybody could have done the job. Look at Baltar's general ineptitude on New Caprica.

  • Baltar was my favourite. He was a genius and individualist, though I loved his character changing slowly in the show and in the end being better than his former self.

Also, I bet roslin would have done the same in that situation in new caprica. That was a no-win case.

  • this sounds alot like his other song worthy of survival

  • this song reminds me to much of gaius baltar and I HATE gaius baltar.

  • i hated baltar on the first watching. I felt that he was this stupid wussy guy who only cared about the women he could sleep with.

On the second watching, I kind of felt a bit more pity for him. true, he was a playboy and all, but I felt that he was more of a victim of circumstance, especially with regards to the time when the cylons landed on caprica. The trial of Gaius Baltar was justly concluded, even though during the first time i watched, I felt like he should have just been executed.

  • @renj123 A coward, arrogant to the point of negating his genius through the sheer hubris. But beyond that(and his womanizing character), Gaius is guilty of nothing throughout the series. He never did anything particularly wrong or evil. He was repeatedly a victim of circumstances and came out in the worst imaginable light.

  • You're an idiot, do you know that. Running around Youtube and commenting badly on everything. If you are so much better than McCreary, why don't you show it. Get a life!

  • This song brings tears to my eyes. So... beautiful...

  • fuck... fuck.

  • I think those are good fucks. Thumbs up. ;)

  • Thank you!....they were very emotional... kind hearted "fucks of goodbye... they were good fucks :*)***

  • Fuck yeah, man. XD

  • You mean... Frak ?

  • Definitely one of the best songs on BSG. Blows me away. Just amazing.

  • Saul is one of the best characters ever created.

  • @dion1tj I concur. Saul Tye for the win!

  • @dion1tj yes he is man he a epic actor --one of my fav.....---hes such a hard ass in bsg---he also plays in the new red riding hood 2011 movie

  • why is this track between 16dirty hands and 18 mandala in the clouds when it is supposed to be during Exodus one of the first few episodes

  • wait how is this going to affect them? i mean do they really need the final five?

  • I cant believe she is the 5th Cylon.... that shocked me.

  • Me too!!!! For me it was a disappointment i thought it was Zak Adama

  • lol. Zak.

  • ya, It was so going to be hotdog!!!

  • i like the way they played it with ellen

  • hence, gentle execution

  • This music really represents emotional struggle. There are some moments in life you regret, and which you never actually not even with time get over. Damn I really feel for the guy.

  • The music was absolutely perfect for this tragic scene.

  • I never liked Ellen all that much, but her death was absolutely tragic. One of the shows top ten moments, most certainly.

  • I always thought the point of Ellen was that you were never meant to like her, and cast doubt on what a cylon really is.

  • this episode is so sad :( poor Saul

  • There will allways be soo much sorrow ... let the earth explode from the core and let us all move on gloriously! or doom is near... so it was written ...so it will come to pass.

  • wow

  • is this from when saul killed his wife? for bein a traitor?

  • yes indeed! Great moment in the series.

  • And the real tragedy is that Tigh truly adored his wife. They were soul mates, yet he believed in the cause of the Colonials so much that her life was forfeit for what she had done.

  • Although the entire series was great, if I were to pick one scene as favourite, this one would be it.

  • How touching and ironic that "Worthy of Survival" shares so much in common with this! Gods! I'm feeling goose bumps. Fantastic music!

  • i lov this song its so good

  • Great
