  • @TahruBliss That's exactly what I was thinking as I listened to this. It would wonderful for Africans to have the collective thought as described in this clip but where on the planet do you see this existing? Nowhere b/c it's not realistic.

  • @TahruBliss Please explain that statement to me, Family. Because all of the groups you mentioned have a socio-economic & political infrastructure they control in their communities. Thank you in advance. ONE

  • @MrHolipsism I think what TahruBliss is saying is, Koreans, Chinese, Japanese are all Asians. But they do not identify or operate as "Asians". As I'm sure you know, they have seperate cultures and identities, they even war with and undermine each other. Same with Indians, Pakistanis, etc. So Africans being nationalistic first, e.g. Nigerian, Kenyan, Ghanaian, etc, is not unique in the least. It's ugly. It's counter-productive. But it's reality.

  • DAM i wanted to hear more.

  • A major reason for our lack of cohesion is the educational system, in history class our youth are Americanized by studying and reading all about Western Civilization, its culture, wars, beliefs, philosophy, rituals, everything. We need to a "program" that will move us from youth, we must not rely on the media which Brother Malcolm said is the "most dangerous weapon" to socialize our youth. The war is against the youth, teach them nation early, include economy, health, industry early on.

  • @777Imhotep You hit the nail right on the head bruh.Another reason for our lack of cultural cohesion is the fact that black folks are constantly bombarded by negative images of themselves by this racist system and as as a result,it instilled low self confidence, mistrust, and self hate in a-lot of us.And also we are bombarded with white savior images in the media which makes a-lot of us look to whites as the savior.

  • Holip, dude you kept hitting him with that cultural cohesion piece & he kept missing it. He then kept trying to create excuses to dance around it. If you don't have the cohesion, you have nothing. Folks love to say that, as if it is THE END OF THE DISCUSSION, when it is really the START of the discussion...but bringing about that cohesion is the tough work and unfortunately folks don't wanna do that tough work--hence the problem!!!

    Excellent articulation Bro. Holip!!!

  • This is why I became a subscriber!

  • cannot count. Anyway, there's more to be said - this is not the space~right now - but hopefully it will pique the interest of a passer-by thirsting for the same Unity that we thirst for as well. Although there are definitely more steps to discuss, I trust The Universe will lead us in the right direction to do what is needed. Hotep

  • This is step one. And I'm sure that those reading know we can't strategize over the Internet - it's not practical. That is one of our obstacles: Learning (again) when to speak and when to be silent. That used to be second-nature but when you break down the family unit, these cornerstones eventually wither and fall away. Trust is also a MAJOR obstacle. We can surely thank the European for sowing the seed of distrust among our people. Ourstory documents the proof of such in ways we nearly

  • but based on the present, determining CLEARLY WHO & WHAT our obstacles are will, imho, move us exponentially ahead...just in doing this 1st part alone. THIS IS THE START. Bcuz w/this fist step, we begin to un-veil and un-cover which in turn serves as an impetus for discovery, SEEING and WANTING to see that bigger picture of Life. Once We start to OVERSTAND the con & how it all went down & who we truly are, then I do believe we'll start to really have something..we'll start to have ourselves

  • of the world. So while we over here and them over there are deluded into thinking that our mountain we must climb is higher than theirs, and vice versa...when we get back to basics, we'll find that, give or take, we're staring at the same mountain. Europeans have usurped far too much credit. How is that the student can out-fox the teacher when the student hasn't realized (or maybe he does) that he never even finished all the courses. He Cliff-noted his way to his degree. Not to get off point

  • identifying every element of obstacle within the community. Being that we are living in america, the building that would start here needs to address the obstacles plagueing us here. Once we've done that, obstacles affecting the larger Diaspora could be addressed. And of course next comes the Motherland. And I believe we'd find a minimal amount of differences here & there but the vast majority of our obstacles would apply to each segment. See, the European has colonized the minds & lands

  • Peace ya'll. It's good to hear this but I think we're - at this point - tired of talking ( I am) but we haven't gone far enough not to need to do it. So like Mr. Holipsism, the Queen & Blk Achvmnt, I feel the urge-the need-the natural inclinitation to want to build this nation of Afrikans both with those born/living in Afrika and the Diaspora but there are so many obstacles that are preventing us from doing so. The only way that we can move forward is by doing first things first and that is

  • Hey,

its great to her the sista again! She's got the Race's back all day and night!

  • Our cohesion has been destroyed, for the most part, how do we reestablish the connection.
