  • "firm" is a very tough word indeed. Well done.

  • I seem to have a question about this part from 0:38-0:41, didn't this part debut at the same week as the week when the word "New" was removed from the title? I think it was because the $50 per answer option was removed by the time the word "New" was removed from the title as well and the microphones in the WC may've been changed again at the same time as well.

  • I thinks it's cool that you can tell how into the game Dick Clark is when he shouts, "Hurry!"

  • Meoldy Thomas Scott was good on this version and you could hear Clark tell her to hurry b/c she had like less than 10 seconds.

and BTW, last Saturday, Meoldy Thomas Scott turned 53 years old and she looks good and has aged gracefully, she has also appeared on John O'Hurley's Version of To Tell the Truth and Family Feud with the late Ray Combs.

  • @tnawcwvictoria Now she's 54.

  • I'll definitely try to post some. Though last week I tried to upload a Pyramid-related video and got a copyright notice.

  • I didn't think such a clue would be said, because it would have been too graphic and obscene for 80s TV.

  • There is thing called "humor".

  • Do you have the intro to this episode?

  • Triple Threat?

  • A short-lived game show from 1988 that was hosted by Jim Lange of The Dating Game. ;)

  • Melody Thomas Scott appeared on alot of game shows in the 1980s and early 1990s, ie. $25,000/$100,000 Pyramid, Family Feud, The Price is Right.

  • And also, "Match Game", "TattleTales", "Body Language", "Pictionary", and "Triple Threat".

  • Sorry for the double post, but I forgot to mention two more shows that she did: "Jeopardy" and "To Tell the Truth".

  • Sometimes the judges were really on-and-off with the "No prepositional phrases" rule...

  • You're right, I was just thinking that. Not only were they lenient about the prepositions, but Melody also said "Working" as part of each clue, which could be interpreted as synonymous/too close to "Jobs."

  • I thought she would have been buzzed for those clues.

  • Why? I didn't hear anything that sounded objectionable.

  • A combination of prepositional phrases and saying working, which could be considered a synonym for job.

  • :47, I could think of a million things for that! I laughed when that came up! :P

  • Phailed!
