Do you think that this might produce more heat if the air was let in the side of the oven to create a turbo type swirl? I plan to give this a try and use 2 or 3 brake drums to hold more heat.
Thank you. I have spent ages looking for a video that explains how to build one from start to finish. This is perfect. I can now heat my waste oil and remove the water for free, before I put it in my fuel tank.
This seems like a VERY intended educational video , but I have a short attention span and I cant stayed tuned in for too long but from fast forwarding you seem to have build a very compatible and well made waste oil burner my friend , GREAT JOB!!
man your vids are great! I have a cpl solar panels and want to rig up some kind of 12v shed light, any kind of wind powered lighting would be nice , also a simple multi size copper wire stripper thanks for making practical vids...kb
If you are still playing with these things,, then why not use a brake drum as the bottom section.. Fit your air tube to the center big hole use the lug holes for the stand and fuel inlet,, like what you have but a lot less drilling and cutting involved...
The whole unit could be just bolted together with small pieces of pipe for the stand offs and legs... Maybe even use a smaller hub for the top... just a thought.. Keep up the good work...
Nice ! Wish we were neighbors. I would really like to see it in action. Thanks for sharing your ideas. Why can't we have politicians that are as resourcefull as you ?
this is great good simple construction. i all so like the way you showed how to do every think thanks im new to the idea of bruning wast oil well in a home. when i was in the army thay had pop bell stoves but no real way to regulate the temperature so you where really hot or really cold. but, the way it looks like you could regulate the temperture with the fan. 5 stars
Thanks for the views and support, Comments help me to know what you'all like to watch. I have many project, like solar power system, electric jeep, wind power, etc.... Just let me know how you like what I'm doing and what you would like to see.
great vid! can i put that whole unit in a large wood burner? will i still need the brake drum to heat the wood burner? want to make it removeable if i run out of oil lol. really like the bottom feed vs drip great job

are the fumes off the oil bad for you?
bigaxe87 6 months ago
@bigaxe87 it's not exactly the smoke, you should be careful to make sure it won't give out carbon monoxide
