@Wixdfast2 I did actually, but every time i opened the program it said there mas an error and that i needed to use a file or something to open it. But i eventually fixed my problem, it was that i installed windows secondly but since i had a problem instaling mac, i installed it again, wich made windows the first OS, i eventually re installed windows and that fixed the problem..... thanks anyway :D
@Wixdfast2 I have a problem in which i did installed both windows 7 and Mac os x sl succesfully, but when i start my laptop it just stays black and a blinking white rectangle in the top left corner, i did install EasyBCD but it does nothing and the only way i can switch between the 2 OS is by using the Mac os X disk's Chamaleon Boot loader so... i cant actually boot them without the cd. How do i fix this?
i have two 500GB HDDs.Can I install MAC OSX in one and keep my Win7 on the other or it has to be done in the same Hard Disk?Reply if you have the time.Any help appreciated. Thanks :-)
@014789562uiopuiop Yes, you can definetly use different hard drives and them work just fine. If you wanted to, although I suggest it, you could install Mac OS X on one hard drive, and install Windows 7 on the other, and depending on which one you wanted to use, just unplug the power and data cables of the one you're not using. But I don't suggest doing that because you'll put extra wear and tear on the hard drive itself.
can i create a partition on vista/seven, add entry for mac on easy bdc and then install mac os on it? or i only have the choice of ''install mac, make partition, install vista/seven, add entry with easy bdc''
@chickenguy1000 Then you'll lose your Windows drive when you reformat your hard drive. You need to reformat your hard drive when you install Mac OS X because it requires a different format from Windows.
@chickenguy1000 No, this is for dual-booting (Mac OS and Windows). If you don't use EasyBCD, you won't see an entry to boot from for Mac OS X when you start up your computer.
I tried this with the newer version of Easy BCD 2.0.1 but every time I add the mac entry noting happens and my windows doesn't start say winload.exe is corrupt and i get no mac loader now I know mac works on my comp I have booted in to it and used it but after i installed windows 7 i didn't have the option to boot to mac even though the partition is untouched but they are both in the same physical drive when I cant boot windows or mac I use the Windows install disk and it fixes it plz help
@1800Supreme Are you sure that you're saving the entry after you've added it? I'll be uploaded a video next Friday of how to use EasyBCD maybe and hopefully that'll solve any issues that you're having.
1 more question. Im running Windows 7 at the moment, is there any way tht i can just install the MAC OS X and then do this dual boot thing becouse i dont have a windows 7 disk ?
@TheHadgeProfessional No, not really. The reason I always recommend doing Mac OS X first then Windows 7 after is because it's near impossible to get the other way to work. It is possible sometimes, but it's so much more difficult to do then it's worth. I've included download links for both Windows 7-32 bit and Windows 7-64 bit on my website.
So what do i need to do, do i need to get a copy on MAC OS and put it on a disk, then get a copy of Windows 7 and put it on a disk , then install the Mac OS disk and then install the Windows 7 disk , then download EasyBCD on windows 7 and then do what you have done in this video. then restart my laptop and i will have a chose which operating system i want to go on ? reply plz, Cheers

@joshrockman1 But when you installed EasyBCD, did you add and save the new boot entry for Mac OS X?

@5050467 No, EasyBCD needs to know where the actually boot entry is for Mac OS X, so if you did it ahead of time, it wouldn't know where to find it.

@Wixdfast2 what happens if i just install mac os x on windows without doing this??

OR if you are on a GPT drive you can screw the BOOTMGR and actually set it up to use only Chameleon as your booloader
