Easiest Way without being attacked...

1.Dragon Shout at the Wall (Make sure no one gets hurt)

2.Wait For a Guard to come (If he doesn't come in about a minute repeat step 1 until he comes)

3. He will tell you some bull crap and open the door for you (Silly Guardz...)

4.Get your stuff and walk out the front door.

Nope, gota find the chest with your stuff.

Then, avoid the guards.

Then avoid any guards you see ANYWHERE forever more until you pay your bounty; or sleep on the cell cot.

Windhelm is tough, I just turned into a wolf and mauled them all, had one big pile of bodies in the cell room.

The ending wasn't even an epic fail but an epic win since he burnt ulfric (literally and figuratly) then nearly made it too the doors when ulfric and his two ass buddy blasted arrows in opragorm's spine! E.P.I.C

I managed to escape like this too, only I got my stuff back.

What I did was since I lost my lockpick, I hit the guard with magic, then blasted them and killed them with Unrelenting Force after they opened the door. Then, I took their stuff (including their key), ran past the other guards, got my stuff, and managed to escape to the bridge where I proceded to kill every single one of them. Fun times.
