i started color guard at my school. this year. Im only a freshmen and I get to pick out the uniforms and everything. wow. it's so much work. I like your uniforms though-they are really "eyecatching"

@MrLovely112 = Dude! My colorguard is all girls, and even our instructor wishes we had guys on the line. We mainly can't do it because of the county we are in. Too many people who could have problems with it. Grr. XD

It looks like you guys have alot of spirit, and you prpbably are a really good guard, considering that you look on time in the pictures...but who decided on those costumes??? seriously... I've seen some interesting outfits before, but honestly, there is no way you could get any one of my guard members into the one that has the attached form-fitting head piece, or that frilly one with like 7 differerent shades of pink.......interesting outfit choices, is all i can say...

Purple Uniforms were cute. The pinks too! The blue/green/orange/with head covering thing... I'm sure it matched the theme. I just hope it wasnt too distracting. You guys seem to have a fantastic guard. Interesting work, and very clean. I hope people actually get to see that though and not just the uniforms.

The guard uniforms were supposed to be other worldly in keeping with the music and theme.

Music: Amin Bhatia's "Interstellar Suite" composed and recorded entirely on a synthesizer.

Irondale music staff turned this into music for marching band.

Color Guard costumes are usualy, if not always, a bit on the interesting side. Our guard director has a love of half/half costumes and painted shoes. Our band director has a love of props. It just sorta comes with the sport.
