I am a gardener and a potter. The reason your pots are cracking is because your ceramic pots are low fire, which means they are permeable. They absorb water then with the temp changes from cold to warm the expansion will crack the pot. There is a solution. Buy plastic pots, get ceramic pots that are glazed inside and out, get high fired pottery, or use a sealant to waterproof the pots. I dont know of any off hand that are food safe/ organic but i am sure there is something. keep up the vids
i love clay pots way better than any plastic container. Every time i see a used one anywhere i make sure i pick it up
