The name of this video is "Magnolia Opening". At 5:50 a magnolia flower opens. A pure matter of chance? No.... These strange things happen all the time....
The opening is about how strange things and wierd coincidences happen all the time. It sets us up for the ending of the film, where.... well, you know what happens.

PTA and Aimee Mann. It doesn't get better. This film is astonishing, there is a 20 minute sequence in this when the quiz is going on and Frank is being interviewed that utterly stunned me. Brilliant film. Utterly brilliant.

agreed, it was quite the opening, our teacher last year showed it to us, cause the book we read had kind of the same concept, apparently i didnt read it, so, but i havent the whole movie yet, want to tho. and i love resevoir dogs and tarantino movies
