  • @wisniaone i'm sorry mate. i can't remember. youtube has disabled / muted too many my videos so i was using audioswap from yt library. and their choice changes. this one is out almost 2 years. and i've had them originaly on my former channel petrwarry (terminated by yt) so it's just too long time ago. sorry

  • God, I love those bomber crews. As a kid, that's all I wanted to be was an aircrew member on a B-17. I have HUGE respect for them. Great vid, Petr!

  • @jonesy97 thanks jonesy

  • if u are curious bout the b17 bombers and what they can do watch a film called the mephis belle it is a true story about the memphis belle's last mission

  • fascinating footage. thanks for sharing

  • All WW2 pilots had Chutes, only the very first WW1 pilots were not given them so they could not bail out farther than fight

  • sure you need some bools to run there protected against 88 mm flack with a 2 mm thin aluminium sheet!...

  • awesome video^^

  • @flyingfreak90 - thanks

  • did those planes have capabilities of parachuting out of them if got hit?

  • @joerover22 - i'd say so

  • @petrwarry72

    i think not

because their exit is in front of the engines, so that they would have been killed if jumping off

  • yes, except if it went on a spin. the crew were then stuck inside due to centrifugal force

  • @joerover22

Yes, except for the belly-gunner (in the bottom-bubble)

  • my hart goes out to all the brave young men in the b17 that never came home RIP men
