Great catch. Although this was a horrible tour for India as we lost 3-0 to Aus in tests and IIRC we won just one match in the VB series (against Pak). Very akin to current English tour...sigh

I was actually at this game. Rob, wasn't there a rat that ran onto the field and then ran back to slam itself on the boundary board? It was up on the big screen and the crowd laugh very loud. I also remember that I happened to be looking away when this catch was taken, which is just the WORST feeling when you're at a live cricket match, to be looking away and hear the crowd go nuts :)
