Holy Bell's. I have the original 45. also Tony use to live in the next house from me on Hancock St., Bushwick, Brooklyn. Have not seen or heard anything of a 1950s show with Tony and co. Now i'm in So. Fl. once in a while i will see some oldies shows on public tv. That time was a more simpler time. Halsey St. park, St martin of Tours, of course the candy store on Wilson ave,.............WHOA that was long ago. i'll never forget them. Thanks JosephObe
I used to work in a building on Madison Ave in NYC that the gentleman on the left on the top row (forgot his name) was the security guard of the building.
You said it!! I adore this in particular. I'm from Queens, NY. We had some great do wop groups also. What a time it was. Many thanks for being one of the special people who really appreciate these great songs!!!
If you're the right age and have memories of those Friday nights long ago -this song will bring tears to even the hardest eyes. god I love this group!
Tony P and the Fascinators are a great addition to the Doo- Wop era. their harmony is flawless and Tonys lead voice is one of the best. I have all of their recordings and play them often,
I named my German Shepherd Chapel Bells, and this is the ONLY song she will sing too! I asked Anthony to sing this song at a Doo Wap show, and he did.
They were not known down here in the SE. That's our loss. This group can really sing and the lead singer is as good as I've heard from that time period. Steve
@ringo244 too right buddy i remember an oldish bloke (probs about 40 at the time ) telling me your only on this planet a short time. how right he was.. at the time though i thought he was mad...
The fantastic Fascinators were an East Coast Harmony Group so most released tunes stayed in the New York Jersey aera. Great stuff... Fiftys4ever jeffs45rpm

@thebigfist I noticed that too when I saw the photo on the video. And listen to how great they sounded together !
Just goes to show what people can do when they put away silly prejudices and join forces.
