  • Subbed btw ;)

  • Awesome video, finally somebody who know's about Keto, I started today, hope to learn alot from you.

  • dude awesome video, but of all the times to film why while you drive lol? learnt a lot, keep it up.

  • Your my hero!

  • Did you stay with this till ur contest?

  • Hey bro, if you live in an apartment try using the oven for the meat. I used to have the same George Forman grill as you and it really dries out the meat bro. And you want all that fat in that meat too. The George Forman grills were popular in the 90's because that's when the "fat makes you fat" phase was going on. But that time has pasted now these days we know carbs is the problem, not the fat. Anyway cool vids. Later

  • i done this diet for 2 months and found i was able to add reps to my bench despite hearing from everyone that no carbs means i will lose all my muscle and i will get weaker, the first week was tough but after that it was good.

  • but what if i'm an endomorph ? the whey protein shake alone can spike my insulin.

  • @feitom1995 For a post workout drink it's fine.

  • could i do keto coming right off a bulk or should i do 1 or 2 months of maintenance?

  • Atkin's Diet

  • how much did you cut also how long shouod i be cycling keto diets for?

  • have you tryed oxy elite pro before and do you know if it works

  • Holla! Have you considered intellectus 424 diet (google it)? Ive heard some great things about it and my buddy lost crazy amounts of weight with it.

  • THis is really a helpful video... Thank you so much

  • if i do 55% fat 40% prot, and 5 % carbs, at 2400 cal. my prot is at 240 and fat is at 140g... how am i supposed to get my fat higher than my prot?

    \

  • @Uytube11 yea i see the confusion your fat CALORIES are higher than your protein calories. 1 gram of fat = 9 calories and 1 gram of protein = 4 calories. So your numbers are correct, don't go by grams, you have more CALORIES from fat.

  • What are portion sizes like on the keeto diet. Can u comment back with like maybe a days worth of meals and what you eat for each meal?

  • JT I like your vids but don't get in a car accident please

  • anyway - good stuff on the scale/diet. Weighing food/tracking/KNOWING that you're on a caloric deficit is SO important and as long as you're tracking stuff YOU will be able to tell whether it works for YOU or not. Best of luck broski! N you ever consider just hopping headfirst into a natural bodybuilding show? I swear, I WISH I started doing them at age 8. LOL. well at least around age 14 or so. The experience and people you meet, stuff you learn, etc, etc, is SO invaluable. can hardly explain!!

  • @flexforall2 i totally agree with u brotha, tracking/weighing/knowing the foods you take in can very well be the difference of seeing the progress u want to see. there's no doubt i want to compete, but i'm still searching/choosing for shows in my local area. good to hear that you've found a strong staple diet... i'm pretty busy so i sent u an add, be glad to talk some more

  • what kind of car is that?

  • @TheOneAndOnly72 its a sentra se-r spec v

  • and then I slowly began to do what they did... learning form the people who actually do what I wanna do. This is all just my experience and im not telling you what you should do. but "advice" from me (and this has nothing to do with the diet ur on) - only take "advice" from a person who you really trust, a person with TITLES, with SUCCESS in what you're pursuing, etc, so on and so fourth. Anyway - good luck brotha! weigh ur sh*t if u aren't and if you are - good shit

  • @flexforall2 haha LOVIN the rant bro, u best bet i have a scale! i also use to guesstimate my food, but when i started to weigh out food about 6months ago it totally changed my results. i'm curious... wat were your goals when you tried the keto diet? was it to build muscle or lose fat? My concept of keto is to only use it to lose fat... so i really have to check my ego right now because i'm not trying to build muscle at the moment... i just want to get as lean as possible while keeping as much

  • @blazersfan7 chyup - no worries man. kinda had to go comment crazy to fit what i wanted to say in there. i was doing it for fat loss. Interestingly I was most likely at a HUGE caloric surplus, so fat loss was sorta minimal, my strength and size slightly increased naturally (mostly just because of greater growth potential, I think). the growth potential thing- I just mean as you get MORE muscle, your potential goes down. you know what i mean. n yeah,

  • @flexforall2 muscle while using the keto diet. i KNOW i need to put on lots more muscle mass all around so i only plan to keep using keto at least till the end of school because its much more convenient than my normal carb diet. u have no idea how much i appreciate your advice... i'm always lookin for ways to improve myself, and learning from people that have more experience in what i wanna do is priceless. good lookin out brotha

  • @blazersfan7 my personal thoughts on keto - I personally think (and I'll just use MYSELF as an example, not anyone else) that I would retain more muscle mass on a regular roughly 20/40/40% diet. I can't say for sure because I didn't WEIGH the food during keto. But in my mind I'm 99.9% sure. Plus there's a rediculous amount of studies about carbs being protein sparing / muscle sparing. if you use facebook - drop me an add and I'll send you a VERY insightful article about contest prep fat loss.

  • and last comment... (you can see im just tryin to help and not bitchin lol) the best advice for me that I've ever received... was straight from the people who I WANTED TO BE LIKE. in my experience - the advice/instruction from my fraternity bro who is a personal trainers... it was SHIT. Advice from "online gurus" who don't even compete? SHIT. basically anything that DIDN'T come from a real life bodybuilder/powerlifter to me was SHIT. I started talking with bodybuilders, meeting them socializing

  • main reason I keep writing these comments.. Lol. Is I tried the keto diet, and the anabolic diet... didn't weigh food AT ALL, just at a LOT and just guestimated percentages... That in itself was an automatic fail.

Comparing the results I had back then to now... It's NIGHT AND DAY. Just concerned about your thought process n who/where/what you believe to be what "works". My knowledge of bodybuilding has shifted SO much since I started getting coached by 3dmusclejourney (natural pro bb'ers)

  • ok about the part where I said I feel like you're doing exactly what I was doing... skipped forward and saw the food - shit confirmed all my assumptions lol. Your kitchen looks just like mine did. Question though bro- are you weighing ur food? I don't think I saw a scale... if you are good shit. if you're not... GET on that! if you're not weighing/calculating then the whole diet is like... irrelevant, invalid, etc etc you get the picture. but if you're tracking stuff its all good

  • Good luck brotha....I can't watch the full vid cuz I'm crazy busy but I skimmed through it. Just checking: are you weighing ur foods/tracking? just checking. I've "tried" keto but wasn't weighing food so my opinion on it is ABSOLUTELY irrelevant. My current diet though, for me, is PERRRFECT. It's been working for me, I can't complain about it one bit. damn man I feel like I was in exactly your shoes just like 2 years cuz I was (minus weighing) practicing/preaching the same damn diet! lol
