  • how did u get this?

  • @RNH31214

I bought the CD here in Madrid

  • Cool. I wonder if there are any out there where Gene takes it deep. I know he can sing a lot lower. One of my older KISS albums actually has him singing lower/deep. Then again I knew another guy that jammed once with Lucky Eddie; Sammy. He could go quite baritone. Very good on certain metal songs if your into bass and baritone sounds.

  • I love the calling dr. love lyrics in there. LOL

  • Revolt of the Goyim!!! Burn in hell, money grubbing dork. Ace and Peter were the band.

  • NOT Bullforg Bheer!

  • No way did they sound like this when the picture shown here was taken....You can tell this was recorded long after these shcool children grew larger, fatter and had longer hair...Cute how some of the roots of Dr. Love show up in the lyrics. Sounds like early KISS for sure...Love it! ...Gene was definately hornier back then...you can tell!

  • Aha! Dr Love lyrics.

  • i just love genes voice, doesn't sound as good today, seen kiss live in 84, and genes voice was so much more powerful than pauls, but they were awesome

  • I don't think It's BB

    I'm almost certain It's not!!!

Gene did many demos on the road,w? his portable recorder,he was especially prolific 76-77.

This Is most definitely one of those demos, sped up,because tape recordings varied back then, when playing & duplicating.

Also the song list,on that BB cd,I know for a fact were not demos of that band...

  • "Stanley the Parrot" is kinda funny.

  • i think this is heavier then KISS's first album!

  • dont post it if u dont know it

  • porque tú lo digas

  • This is not bullfrog bheer. This is a Gene demo from the KISS vaults from 1976.

    doctor love lyric

love em' leave em guitar break.

  • Holy Cow, what a find!?

  • damn bullfrog bheer were pretty good.

  • i agree. ....Craig

  • PART TWO \/\/\/\/\/

A Gene studio demo session 12" acetate, so not probably something you'll find, but interesting due to the songs on it! Track A1 would be re-written as "Sweat & Dirty" in 1998; Track A2 would later ber re-written as "100%" in 1985; and Track B1 contains lyrics that would later be used in "Calling Dr. Love" Track A3 is different to the later released version while Track B2 is a previously unknown track...

  • I DID SOME MORE RESEARCH and found this GENE SIMMONS: Studio 12" Acetate (1976) The Master Cutting Room, Inc. No Matrix Code (USA, 1976) A1. Rotten To The Core A2. Daily Planet (Instrumental) A3. Burning Up With Fever B1. High And Low B2. Jelly Roll PART ONE\/\/\/\/\/\/\/

  • OK Thank you all for the information

  • And pardon the typos in my messages.

  • OK, history lesson. None of this is Bullfrog Bheer, regardless of what some idiotr who put it on a CD-R with a color cover says. These are Gene Simmons demos, the majority of them mid to late 70's. The earliest, Stabley The Parrot and Leeta, were A and B sides on the same acetate. Love Is Blind is not Bullfrog, it was demoed around Gene's solo album. HIgh and Low and Daily Planet were demoed around Destroyer; Jelly Roll and Rotten To The Core around Rock And Roll Over.

  • "Love Is Blind" began as "Love Came to Me" around the Love Gun album, maybe a little earlier than that. Thing is, you sheep out there believe anything you see on YouTube. Look elsewhere, do a little homework, and then comment. Stop spewing misinformation.

  • Isn't "Rotten to the Core" on the new album?

  • If you know that, you knwo more than I do. Haven't hearfd anything re song titles or other rumors about the new album, which is unlike any KISS release since COS.

I actually doubt Rotten To The Core is on the new KISS album tho. Seeing that Paul produced it, I doubt that kind of drivel made it to the 24 track studio.

  • From Rolling Stone: "The first studio album from Kiss in more than a decade will include songs about the obvious things, says bassist-singer Gene Simmons, citing titles such as Rotten To The Core. No secret to life, no political messaging, nothing like that, he says of the lyrics."

It sounds like they're not writing many new songs these days. Why not recycle yesterday's throwaways?

  • Gene said that the "Rotten to the core" Demo is not the same song as on the new album.

  • Its "hot and cold" now, the verses are almost exactly the same as Rotten to the core.

  • Love Is Blind & Leeta are Bullfrog Bheer.

Daily Planet is a Destroyer demo.

The others are Rock N Roll Over demos

  • You can google Bullfrog's music and get a couple short bits of their music online. Just a sampling of Stanley the Parrot and Leeta and you will see it is extremely different than this. Bullfrog's music was mellow and eclectic. This guitar in this version of High and Low is Ace Frehley.

  • Yes, I think ''Leeta'' is really awesome

  • ohh okayy

    yepp

i'm reasding a book on Gene that he wrote this is only how i know this

    Sex,Money,KISS

hah maybe you should read it

    it's really good!

    and thanks again!

    you keep rockin too!

  • wow what?

i'm only 12 and a huge friggin KISS fan lol and sorry if that sounded mean. i just wish people would read a little more and figure out if they have the right info or not.

  • Ok, i was just surprised, because I didn't knew that! XD keep on rockin' man

  • @GSimmonsRox i agree and im 21 years old. kiss army for life.

  • this isn't Gene's 1st band it's his 3rd!

His 1st was The Missing Links his 2nd The Long Island Sounds, and then Bullfrog Bheer

    which is his college band.

  • Wow¡¡XD

  • don't forget Wicked Lester before KISS! don't believe me? check him out.

  • Well, this track appears in my Bullfrog Bheer CD (you can see it in the photo of the video, track number 2) and I think that is an early ''Doctor Love''.

Thanks to everyone, keep on rockin' ;)

  • Yes the song appears on Bullfrog's album but it isn't this song. Come on man you know it. This version was by KISS. It eventually turned into Dr. Love.

  • kickass bro.

  • CALLING DR LOVE WRITTEN ALL OVER IT.

  • I have to dissapoint you but this is not a pre-kiss demo,it's recorded in his Kiss period, somewhere in the 80's...

  • you fail... this isn't kiss at all, its one of his early college band in the early

70's. which happens to have some of Gene in there...

  • You're right,it's Kiss period.Genes vocal style alone dates it to that era. This is just rough demo.Bootlegs can be an uncertain source.

  • are we sure this band did 'professional' recordings, because "Stanley The Parrot' was a song of either Gene's or Paul's. I will have to do more research...

  • This was before he became a greedy bastard. It's good. Better then some Kiss songs.

  • Wow.Real cool stuff.

  • this is a good track but its actually a rock n roll over demo

  • there was a bullfrog bheer traqck with the same name though

  • cool

  • Thanks For The Share Jerseymetalhead!I Did'nt Know Gene Was On This! Thanks! 5/5***** Stars! =))

  • Havent heard of this one. nice one matey.

  • gene es el que sostiene el bajo??

    cuesta reconocerle sin maquillaje!

  • Sí, es él

  • This song defo became Dr Love

  • This isn't actually Bullfrog Bheer. This track is from a Gene demo, circa 1976. Info easily avaliable on Google.
