i think i might have another one near my right wrist its a lump and feels like a lipoma got a appointment with the doctor on the 7th february 2012 not good if you are right handed like me
Yeah they grow back, it toke mine about 12 years to fully grow back.. Yours is in bad spots as faw as pulling them out. Mine is on my forehead so it's harder to hide it.. From seeing them and watching them grow i really don't think their's a limit on how big they can grow...
hi my name is ali and i have 3 almost 3 cm of lipomas and alomost 10 of them like very small like 1 cm i dont know where to concern or to whom contact i went to doctor he said its ok if u dont remove it but m not satisfied can some one help me out in this siutation my email is dj_junaidali4ever@yahoo.com I WILL REALLY APPRECIATE IT THANKS ...:(
@junaidali4ever That doctor had no knowledge on it thats why he said don't remove it.. It's just fast not harmful but it won't stop growing.. Mine is in my forehead so it does'nt look good.. I had it removed 12 years ago and its back.. Now it's the size of about a marble and a 1/2.. If it's in a hidden spot and not that big i would'nt worry now but it will keep growing so eventually you will have too remove it, good luck...
Hi. I did my lipoma surgery, nothing to worry about. Had my Lipoma removed from my lower right back. Just had the operation done yesterday and its kinda hurting a bit...but thats normal after a surgery, should get better in a couple of days....Dissovable stiches were used afterwards. Anxious to see the results from the histology and also anxious to see the results on the actual scar left like the gentleman in the video....
The swelling is still there from last week. I went to my GP today, and I was told its normal to feel like the blood has gathered like that. I was also told that it looks fine and one must give it more time to heal.
Dont worry, nothing to worry about, unless it has been there for a long period of time, then I suppose the doctor will advise accordingly.
I am going to wait another 2 weeks, see what happens.
@brother2948 Yes I had swelling and most of it is gone now I recently had my stiches removed I had black eyes because the way the blood drained!! LOL it mad me nvervous but later found out it was all normal!
I went to my GP twice now after my operation. My scar is filled with blood and perhaps fluid. MY doctor said I need to give it more time to heal. Only thing that keeps annoying me is the fact that it looks swollen. I mean it does not look like a scar only about to heal. LOADS of blood inside, which almost looks like a ball. lol...Almost as if another Lipoma has been formed....Dunno how else to explain it? lol
@brother2948 That means he did'nt get it all out.. The more you leave in the quiker it grows back..Their's still alot of research being done on lipoma's so alot of doctors don't know what the hell they're doing..

@frankoplanet A lipoma is an non-cancerous tumour that is made up of fat cells. It slowly grows under the skin in the subcutaneous. A person may have a single lipoma or may have many lipomas. They are very common.
Hi,I'm from Poland and my husband has got four lipomas on his head. Thank you for that video, now I'm calm that everything will be ok with him after the removal.
The chest/abdominal cyst you had removed feels the way it does because of it's location. It's an area that needs to flex normally as you breath and as your abdominal contents expand and push on your diaphram. There is really nothing underneath that it could have attached to but you should follow up with your doctor and explain any pain.
I've had these removed too so i understand. Hope all is well for you!
I have a huge one in my chest. I went to a brest caner center to have it checked out. The female doctor said don't worry about it.. If its not bothering me don't bother it..
I was the only dude in the office.. I did pick a cute chick though..
Looks like your doctor used the same technique used by my doctor who removed my previous two lipomas. She operated directly on top of the lipomas and stitched the skin onto the muscle in the dents causing two dents that won't go away. So I decided to do it myself and make the incision near the lipoma instead of on top of it. The result was quite good.
I'm no doctor so ask your doctor if it works on you should you need lipoma removal again.
You have joined the elite of society by having lypomas removed.
I've had over the years heaps of lypomas removed. I used a Laser Cosmetic Surgeon and his work has been good except on one occasion when a nerve was slightly damaged.
Although your chest may feel a bit tight with the stiches in, once the swelling around the area goes down, things should loosen up ok.
I have researched lypomas and their is no apparent prevention or cure and it is not diet related.
i ve multiple lipomas. got 2 big ones on my hands removed as part of biopsy. problem is they are manifesting all over the body. its been now more than 5 years since i first noticed the first one and still actively looking for cure/prevention. most docs dont suggest any cure(incision) since - cause unknown + scars all over + still doesnt guarantee future growth. tryin to get Homeopathic medicines. liposuction, steroids are other risky/scary solutions apart frm costs due to pathetic health sys
Lucky guy !! I got one remove 1 week ago in the back of my neck. Its like 5 inches scars long. Hope it will be ok looking.

There's a new forum trying to start which will try to find the best methods to treat the lipomas: lipomaboard I prefer the non-invasive methods.
