Because if you look at it, the Daleks are much more like angels than the Doctor. In The Bible, the angels are shown as warriors, killers and cold, unmovable servants of the Lord. The Daleks fit this category perfectly: Not only do they kill without question, they follow orders without question.

@ScarisClaudius a better comparison would be daleks are more like machines than cyborg aliens, a machine would execute an order regarldess of how drastic that order may be, daleks kill without remorse and have no moral weaknesses (love, compasion, guilt, etc)...angels on the other hand are god's servants and they're not cold unmovable killers, angels are beings born of love and light while daleks are creatures of hate and darkness, angels kill only the wicked and obey god's perfect judgement

The new darleks look FUGLY baby colours I loved the cult of skaro. Darlek sec that black beast if he had succeeded the darleks would be an unstoppable race.
This music really helped in making the daleks epic. They were cold, hard, killing machines. When monsters come, Funny things can still ensue. When the cybermen come, Things get serious. When the daleks come, you can feel just how fucked you are from a mere glimpse and the playing of this theme.
Then they ruined it by making them do funny things or having funny things happen around them, then replaced their harsh cold look with bright colours. This music alone brings back their terror though.

@1andrewman1 I had braces and they fixed my teeth right up. Also, I have quite a deep voice. I do not, however, play Minecraft, and have no intention of playing it.

Cool idea, but somehow I don't think the creepers explosions would have much effect on a Dalek, especially considering that about 50% of the time a normal human can survive one.
@damekowalski Can't adapt from an attack that kills you instantly with one shot. Their weapons would be ineffective against the Daleks. For a perfect example of what happens when an advanced cybernetic race goes up against the Daleks, watch the Doom's day episode.
@mutegrab666 yes you are right but...you can't destroy the hive mind with one shot from a Dalek. The Dalek are terrific killers, the best I think, but the Borg would capture one and then we have a good match! What a battle that would be!
@mutegrab666 they adapted to Phasers just fine, it only took them one death, Phaser beams move faster than than extermination blasts by a factor of many thousands of times, so it appears the daleks would only win if they had a replaced their gunstick with a thompson SMG
@pds314159 you obviously don't know what daleks are, do you? 1 dalek is enough to wipe out 5.000.000 cybermen, the daleks don't go down so easy as you think, phaser fire? :)) what a laugh, cybermen laser weapons weren't enough to kill the daleks, you'll need something more potent than a crummy phaser ;)...think starship grade phasers not hand held phasers ;)

The original Cybermen only wanted to assimilate humans because they were planning on teraforming earth to suit their needs and humanity would not survive in it's current form. So they really WERE doing it in order to help humanity (though they'd help even better if they went to teraform say, Mars instead.)
Eventually they just assimilated people practically for the hell of it.

@Perion well, that is half true, rather the Borg will investigate, choose if you are useful, then convert the masses, the only reason they started assimilating in first contact was because they wanted to convert the planet, and failed, so they needed the enterprise and some of its crew, for a few Borg wouldn't be enough to call in a full invasion force, unless the crew was out of the way and the deflector dish was able to be modified.
@warbossgrotsmasha23 It's a common but unfortunate trend in sci-fi (especially star trek but Doctor Who is guilty of it too) for a race to be introduced with layers and depth, and then flanderized into a shallow one note parody of their former selves or completely transformed into something they never were to begin with *cough*Klingons*cough*.

The Doctor would have a very hard time stopping that war. He thought the cybermen vs Darleks were bad but adding in the Terminators from skynet that man has created just makes things harder on him. :) can't wait to see that fight. You know.

@damekowalski Can't adapt from an attack that kills you instantly with one shot. Their weapons would be ineffective against the Daleks. For a perfect example of what happens when an advanced cybernetic race goes up against the Daleks, watch the Doom's day episode.

@mutegrab666 yes you are right but...you can't destroy the hive mind with one shot from a Dalek. The Dalek are terrific killers, the best I think, but the Borg would capture one and then we have a good match! What a battle that would be!

@mutegrab666 they adapted to Phasers just fine, it only took them one death, Phaser beams move faster than than extermination blasts by a factor of many thousands of times, so it appears the daleks would only win if they had a replaced their gunstick with a thompson SMG

@pds314159 you obviously don't know what daleks are, do you? 1 dalek is enough to wipe out 5.000.000 cybermen, the daleks don't go down so easy as you think, phaser fire? :)) what a laugh, cybermen laser weapons weren't enough to kill the daleks, you'll need something more potent than a crummy phaser ;)...think starship grade phasers not hand held phasers ;)

@warbossgrotsmasha23 Phasers have 360 years more technology in them than the Cybermen's 2009-ish Weaponry Lumic Weaponry (not Torch-wood, no alien tech inside)
additionally, I was talking about Phasers VS borg, and borg-tech vs Dalekanium / Polycarbide with shields, and I said the Daleks themselves would be impervious in hand-to-hand or Ranged Gunfire combat, indeed, 1000's of borg on dozens of ships would die very quickly, but they would then adapt, and if a dalek ship died resistance is futile

@Perion i only made that comparison because the borg and cybermen have a lot of things in common and i strongly think that the cybermen were the basis for the creation of the borg in star trek

@warbossgrotsmasha23 Kindof, they do have quite a bit in common both on screen and behind the scenes. The original Cybermen only wanted to assimilate humans because they were planning on teraforming earth to suit their needs and humanity would not survive in it's current form. So they really WERE doing it in order to help humanity (though they'd help even better if they went to teraform say, Mars instead.)
Eventually they just assimilated people practically for the hell of it.

@warbossgrotsmasha23 Likewise the Borg started out as being completely different, not being interested in assimilation of species in the least, only consuming their technology. "The ultimate user" Q called them. However after they assimilated Picard in order to potentially get an edge over the Federation, the writers decided to make them vampirezombiecyborgs from space! complete with a queen vampire who if killed all the others die too and "fangs" that prick your neck to infect you.

@Perion the borg had something called a hive mind, similar to what the cybermen have, the cyberleader was the head of all cybermen and when killed another cyberman would take its place instead of dying off (this is more efficient compared to the borg hive mind, when you kill their queen total chaos spreads into the collective until a new queen is chosen to bring order to chaos)

@warbossgrotsmasha23 Incorrect, when artificially disconnected from ship hive minds, they go crazy, only if not by there own will (Ref: first contact and the Borg+Lore+Data double episode whatever it was called). removing Locutus/Picard had no negative effects on the Borg ship. other than lack of a single Borg

@pds314159 locutus of borg wasn't the head of the entire borg collective, the queen was, get your facts right, locutus was a mere pawn for the borg to use picard's strategies in order to defeat the federation fleet, when locutus was severed from the collective that didn't hurt it one bit cause the queen was still in charge altough by that time the federation knew little of the borg and weren't aware of the queen leading them

@Perion well, that is half true, rather the Borg will investigate, choose if you are useful, then convert the masses, the only reason they started assimilating in first contact was because they wanted to convert the planet, and failed, so they needed the enterprise and some of its crew, for a few Borg wouldn't be enough to call in a full invasion force, unless the crew was out of the way and the deflector dish was able to be modified.

@warbossgrotsmasha23 It's a common but unfortunate trend in sci-fi (especially star trek but Doctor Who is guilty of it too) for a race to be introduced with layers and depth, and then flanderized into a shallow one note parody of their former selves or completely transformed into something they never were to begin with *cough*Klingons*cough*.
