I agree there were many attrocities done by the SL gov towards the Tamil people, but that was almost half a century ago. The SL gov and the majority of its citizens have recognized this. We can't change history but pretty much everyone in SL just wants a stable and peaceful country now. So instead of taking up arms to fight an outdated battle we can work towards rebuilding and uniting the country which I know many Sinhalese and Tamils want.
