Hey guys, just a quick question about the security of photo. Can I lock my photo's properties (for ex: The shuttle speed or author etc ) so that no matter what happen (someone download it from facebook) but they still having my properties and can't change it? Cheers
i just saved enough money for all your dvds and after watching the first one, i do not regret buy them. thank you so much for making videos that you can understand easily.
What was the purpose of point out the use of the filter that was similar to an ND but split in half? Just trying to understand. Thanks for all the great tips so far.
@sprocketrsvr They're known as Graduated Neutral Density filters ("grads") look for brands like Lee, Tiffen or Roscoe. Probably just as important is the filter holder, one that allows rotation helps allot.
Those are not paper. They are graduated ND (neutral density) filters. They are transparent at the bottom half so that you can balance the exposure between bright sky and the foreground. With a point and shoot, you don't have much control in exposure and you cannot have the effect of wide angle lenses.
Great video. How did you manage to use a tripod at all those places in Paris? Most places in Paris don't allow tripods. Please let me know since I will be there soon.
Most places don't mind you using your tripod, some of the really touristy areas are packed with people using tripods, however a few of the places needed permits. These were normally the privately owned or commercial areas. They only really have a problem with it if you are going to sell the photos if you are a professional. If you are going there as a tourist and the photos are for personal use then they generally don't mind.
@GreatPhotographyTips Love your videos and have taken some seascape shots recently myself but it was very windy and the problems i had were keeping the tripod steady and spray from the sea off my lens. Any advise?. Think i need a stronger tripod and not shoot when its so windy?
I was in Paris last year and my oh my, So many photo opportunities there! :)

These were great shots, but could you ssllooww down a bit, and explain more about what you are doing, so learners could perhaps pick up more tips.
thanks
