Thanks to you Deborah. I´ve never been there. France are my nearest neighbour, but I think next summer will be posibly my first trip to Paris, so D´Orsey will be an obligated visit. @BurnVillage Good for you Burn! People always think there will be time later but if you can do it, then do it!  Make time for the street musicians. They are the best. I go to one major tourist attraction a day and then just let myself wander down the back streets. Hard to get lost but I always carry a good map. Also, some will be rude but just shrug them off. Lot's are just hesitant but if you show yourself friendly, they will be too. Young people at youth hostels talk and will help. G luck!

@Songsmirth yeah, some French people tend to be a little bit rude, but then I remember tha I´m Spanish and open mind people, and forget all plainness. Anyway, I´m going to visit Paris with some friends that is no their first time like me and they know many places even French language. I can´t wait until the summer season. If you come to Spain you must visit The Prado museum, many people say it´s the best painting museum in the world. I´m going to visit it soon for a Renoir exhibition.

Es una pena que muchísimas series británicas no las pongan aquí o si lo hacen el doblaje deja mucho que desear. También está como decimos aquí "buenorro", haciendo de malo malísimo como Guy of Gisborne.

He visto los tres videos y me ha gustado mucho. He aprendido algo más sobre estos pintores y he descubierto cuadros que no conocía, y eso me pasa porque en Cou (2 de bachillerato actualmente) no escogí arte sino griego como asignatura opcional. Sobre la pequeña interpretación que he apreciado, me he quedado sorprendida con lo bien que captan los actores su manera de ver el mundo y como lo reflejan en sus pinturas.

PD: Una pena que no exporten estas series fuera del Reino Unido. Besissssss

What I mean is that there is clearly an actual movie with dialogue and acting. Not just some random shots of the artist painting the supposed painting and then they show the actual painting. So, what I would like to know is, is there a full movie?

Oh yes, it´s a serie of 3 parts about 1 hour each. My vids are only centred in pictures and the moment those painters did their job.

A very good book about the Impressionists is a book called, Impressionism, Art, Leisure and Parisian Society by Robert L. Herbert. The book explains why they painted those scenes. I studied art history and loved it.
