@ civileso: Where did you come across this particular score? I am trying to find it with piano reduction for a recital I am doing in December...so far, the only available editions I have found are all currently in England (I am in the United States) which means I will be paying twice as much in shipping fees as the score costs by itself. Any help you could offer would be most appreciated!
With Andreas Scholl, it's always divine! This countertenor is able to create tenseness and deepness immediatly. Exactly what we expect in Nisi Dominus, a Vivaldi's masterpiece.
2:00 to 2:10.. i can't even explain it. i want to say it speaks to my soul, but that sounds cliche. but it really does just.. speak to me. it's absolutely beautiful. the combination of the 16th notes dancing around like that and the organ part just... feels so right.
verdaderamente Vivaldi es, dentro del genero de la musica barroca; mi favorito y desdeluego es opinion es el mejor. gracias a civileso por compartir!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ThePygmyShrew has wrote a commentary I agree totaly with : "To be able to both hear and read music at the same time is a wonderful experience, it feels almost as magic that something so complex and beatiful can be written down in such a seemingly simple way. It's just fascinating. So thank you so much for posting this. Sincerly".

God, thanks for posting this incredible video. This is one of my favourites from Vivaldi.
I think this masterpiece is the best example of the barroque period.
