interesting I didn't know my bike could wheelie at 150km/h =) .... know if there were any mods to this bike gearing etc? sweet vid man loved it, ride on =)
I see you chose the black anodized reservoir on the handle bars. =)
By the way I was wondering how tall you are/were during this video because I was called the "Iron Giant" for a period in my life if ya know what I mean.
looks like a hoot. there is no denying the sound. sorry four cylinder guys. that motor growls reminds me of the old 2-stroke triples and v12 Ferrari's . your probably sick of the hey you got a bunt out headlight comments. i think the new R1's are the only bikes to address this issue. cheers
Dumbest thing I've ever heard. Higher CG is still higher no matter how far you're leaned over... Unless of course you go through a corner upside down...
I traded my '06 recently, to pick up an '09. I have to say... the new model is a fantastic improvement over the 06-08 models. Its definately worth considering over comparible Japanese models. Im completely mezmorized by this bike. No video you'll ever watch will do this bike justice.
yea but look at hp, while the 750 has 115, this has 105, unique bike, what are u 16 man, shut up with this jap is way better, triumph is awesome, few on the road, more pride when u ride one
yea true, so whos side are u on, triumph, same riders, the triumph has a fair chance at winning cause not only weight but slimmest to, whatever its the most gorgeous sportbike, pride is key
its a big diference, wit h4 cilinders you've got more r/min than 3 cilinders -_- and bye the way, husaberg sucks, i had a 550 last year, the engine was after a half year dead -_- now i'm driving husky again!

Meh. Give me the GSXR 750 and get it over with. However I have to give Triumph credit for offering a "600 class" (yeah right) bike for less money than the Japanese 600's and trouncing them in horsepower. Clever way to beat the competition, give it a way bigger "600 class" engine.
Wrong, they were in british supersport and world supersport this year, yes its 675cc but 3 cylinders instead of four as the jap bikes use which gives them a pretty even advantage.
Great bike, great video. How does this one compare to a GSXR 600 or other four-cilinder supersports on top-end power? It always seemed that the 675 was not as fast on top end power on high speeds as the 600 four cilinders?
The 675 is classed at the 600 CC supersport class. It is allowed to race other 600s because it cranks out 105 hp, and when that's what the moto gp looks at...not CC'S.
not sure why you bring MotoGP to this issue , just make things clear MotoGP DOES LOOK CC'S , they dont care if you run a 4 stroke 2 stroke , 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 cylinders AS LONGS the engine is under or 800cc's its legal.
as for the 600cc's supersport .. i mean just read the name of the bike "Daytona 675" might be legal in SOME race series around the world but it is not a legal 600 supersport.
Nice footage. Nice to see that the Daytona got a refresh...I'm waiting for them to make a triple that's closer to the 1000 I4 bikes in terms of power :)

I used to ride the CBR600RR. Man, this thing blows it outta the water.
For its size, there's no better bike out there.

interesting. i love the triple's sound.
adrianrubi 2 years ago
my friend, the cbr 600rr doesnt have same much power, I know you dont like to hear this.
Its perfect for racetrack. It got more power than an Ducati 848..

That's just the main/safety headlight. The other is the high-beam. Most road sportsbikes are the same these days.

The bike is light, but the gravit center should be a bit lower.
tbg008 2 years ago
low centre of gravity is worse turning... top heavy centre of gravity = more weight on the inside of the corner when leaned over.

uuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhmmmmmmm big diffrence between 3 and 4 cinlinders!!
husaberg 650cc 1cilinder produces +- 70 hp to give you a comparison
One more thing your jap bike is 15 to 20kg heavyier so you won't run him out much if you would (3kg=1hp)

actually, moto gp is only set on 4stroke 800cc motors, 2strokes have been banned since 2005
and the daytona is classed as a supersport. period.
