  • Great costumes! I want to make a belt similar to the red one. Any chance you could let me know how you make the long bits that dangle from it? Hope you're still making costumes and accessories - you're very talented!

  • Have you considered selling on etsy? These are lovely pieces!!

  • I think I see these dresses in Kalash, Pakistan see there

    watch?v=W8yz0mv7-no

  • Very pretty :)

  • You should sell your creations or make new ones and open a shop on Etsy. :D

  • These are such beautiful costumes! Great job!

  • call it tribal fusion and no one will get on your back about a choli or anything like that ^_^

plus in tribal fusion dance more options are available to one for the moves! Unfortunately for me.. no one teaches it here.. so I settle for the teacher I found of a different style of the dance but i don't mind too much, i still dance tribal fusion on my own XD

  • AMAZING WORK! You really have put a lot of detail into the outfit!

  • looks like you are inspiring a lot of people. You obviously have a gift for making these costumes and really should keep doing it. could you please please if you havnt already please make a tutorial on how to make these in fact, if you could please make as many as possible I will definately watch and learn from all of them!

  • I was wondering. I love to bellydance and I'm teaching myself tribal, but I have a mdoesty issue, both me and my boyriend dislike em exposing skin, so I was wondering... could a choli with a body stocking underneath be worn with a tribal costume?

BTW, I LOVE these costumes, great job, Ms. Pattasy!! ^^

  • can you make a tutorial on how to make a tribal bellydance costume?

  • I would sooooooooooo buy one!!

  • Absolutly beautiful !! x

  • @LauralyricXx, many tribal and other types of belly dancers do not wear choli tops. That's why it's referred to as fusion dance - because many styles are fused into one art form. When you put restrictions on an art form, it ceases to be art. Perhaps you need to educate yourself more about the art of belly dancing before you criticize others.

  • love the work, it's hard for me to make my own costumes... i just don't have the time but i'm working on it :)

  • Nice! Check out my website if you need custom made Tribal fusion costumes & accessories. Scarlet's Belly Dance Lounge.

  • Your costume is sooooooo beautiful. I'm so jealus. I think I'm gonna make mine aswell. You inspired me!

  • @pattasy You're costumes are amazing! I'm apart of a belly dance group here in Arkansas. We do a little bit of everything. Each member has their own unique style. I, for one, love Gypsy and Tribal Fusion. I'm working on a tribal belt right now! Wish me luck as I'm not a crafty person. At all. lol

  • Thank you so much for posting this: It's very inspiring!

(and you don't ALWAYS have to wear a choli. It's tribal: wear whatever the hell you want.)

  • You have a calling! Your designs are fabulous! Your future is only limited by your imagination. Keep going and the best to you!!!

  • Your costume is amazing, you're really creative, congratulations from Hungary ;)

  • Where on earth is your choli?? It's a beautiful costume... but it's not ATS without one.

  • @LauralyricXx why would she need a choli? she has a top

  • @LauralyricXx I'm not really sure what ATS is, but i didn't want to wear a choli. It was like 100 degrees outside and i was afraid to get armpit sweat rings :D. I do want to make some long sheer arm covers though.

  • @pattasy Tribal isn't only ATS. Rachel Brice never wears a choli. It's a great costume. Would love to have that type of talent so I could stop paying $300 plus for mine. PS... The asian coins are a nice touch. It makes the pieces interesting.

  • @KBDollhouseproject tribal is ATS Tribal fusion is like Rachel Brice ^_^ I like both but tend to enjoy the freedoms of tribal fusion ^_^

  • @LauralyricXx I have seen Rachel Brice not wearing a choli. Isn't she ATS??

  • Great :D I'd like do something like that :) The costume is beautiful

  • beautiful costumes

  • very nice!

  • omg i luv everythign im trying to make myself a costume...can u send sum pictures with details of everythign plz. aacesories hair piece top bottoms etc..plz????will u so i can give u my emial plz. thansk alot :)

  • Very awesome costumes. I would suggest if you're going for tribal to add in a choli over the coin bra. But very awesome. I drooled over the headpieces. :3

  • well its defiantly not ATS tribal belly dance costume. We would never wear a coin bra without a choli. more of a tribal fusion costume. very pretty

  • man you are awesome.

  • Beutiful! 5* Thank you very much! Ana

  • love it, especially the hair falls

  • hahaha! cant bellydance but u look like one! thats cool i love the costumes!!

  • it's never too late to learn! and your body's perfect for tribal! just keep watching Rachel Brice & friends lol awesome stuff btw...

  • are you selling your costumes? i especially like your headpieces.

  • no, i'm not selling any yet. I thought about it :)

  • @pattasy are you selling outfits yet:)

  • @pattasy Yeah, I was looking at how you made them. Great Idea! I've been trying to get it to stay there for awhile....not I just need to find somewhere that sells those types of headbands lol Thanks for the idea :)

  • I have the same wish jag necolace

  • you should deff make those to sell, I know i would pay good money for one or a pattern for one

  • I love the asian coins touch, and it looks like you can hold your own with some moves

  • Beautiful with every detail :-)

  • Music is very good.

  • lol don't feel bad, I can't bellydance either. ^o^

  • You make beautiful costuming, dancer or not:)

  • I never believe it when someone says they 'can't bellydance'. You have creativity and energy enough to make beautiful costumes so why can't you take some classes... or get some instructional DVD's and get the moves down!

On the other had... maybe you are happy creating beautiful costumes and that is where your heart lies. As long as you are having fun and staying happy with what you do... thats all that matters :)

    Be well, much love XX

  • wow ladie id love to have one of those

  • WHAT! you have those costume and you CAN'T BELLYDANCE? No young lady... start to learn NOW (:

  • oh, lol! thats right, i can't. It looks fun, i have dvd's and such, but i just can't keep at it. I'd rather make stuff. :)

  • Love to see young dancers starting out. Looks great, keep up the good work!

  • I'm on a class learning to dance Gothic Tribal bellydance, and now I'm so freaking tempted to make a outfit ^^

  • you should make more and sell them :D

  • Looks very nice. I wish I could do Tribal, but the only classes are at least 45 minutes in car away from me. :(

  • Time isn't much of a problem. Besides, isn't a little bit of time worth learning something new? If you never roam, you'll never see what can be in this world. I'll stop now, I'm starting to sound like a Mary Poppins song. :P

  • Well when you're in high school and you already spend 5 hours per day in school, then 2 hours working, hell even on saturdays you work it is a problem. When you have high chances of harassment when you go back to home after 6 pm it is a problem. :s

  • I *LOVE* your costumes and you did an excellent job with your hair and headpiece, too! Beautiful job! :)

  • thank you :)

  • thank you. its on an old homemade mix cd and all it says is: celtic trance- darkwave

not sure how credible that is :)

  • Beautiful costumes! :D

What is the name of the song that is playing?

  • your realy good. you could sale this stuff. you should make videos on how to do some of the little basic stuff and post it on here. :D

  • Gorgeous costumes! You're very talented

  • these are fantastic! My mom and sister are belly dancers and they love your designs!

  • Fantastic job! I'm a dancer and I never seem to get my costumes together just right... Lol. You did great!

  • Geez! Make my next bra would you? I've been working on one for months now! The whole costume is phenomenal!

  • :) its actually very easy. cut the shoulder straps off a bra and add your own. and then just stick some frilly froofroo stuff on a thick plain bra and run it through the sewing machine. :D i can make them in about 30min.

thank you for the compliments :)

  • WOW! You are so good! Thatś nice work!

  • thank you very much :)

  • Greetings,

would you mind posting a how to on the hair pieces? I really like the outfits you made. Thank you.

  • thank you! i finished a 2nd set of hairfalls in blue, but i didn't think to record the process. :( i'll try to post something soon. :)

  • U should really learn to dance =) why not take classes?

  • I got dvds, i just can't seem to keep working at it. I got a friend that wants to get into it too, who knows, mabe we'll try and stick with it. :D

  • If I were you, I'd try to take a real bellydance class if one is available in your area. There are some good videos out there, but a video can't correct your form if you're doing it wrong. Also, there tends to be a certain amount of extra motivation when you know you've spent the money for the class and people will know if you skip. ;-)

  • I want to be able to make my own costume ahh xD but I've never learnt to sew it's horrible =(

  • i never learned to dance. lol! But seriously if the desire is there, sewing is pretty easy. Most of the things i make uses a simple straight stich with a sewing machine, no fancy stuff.

  • oh...I think we've got a sewing machine...but as far as I know it's broken xD

I think I'd have to understand the patterns first that u use for sewing things.

  • XD I hardly use patterns. (i don't know how) i used a black bra and stuck a bunch of stuff on it, then i cut the straps off and added my own. The dress is just two half circles sewn together. If i understood patterns, i'd be making alot more stuff! :)

  • Hah'zah! Well done! ...seriously! My wife's in a tribe so I've seen the good and the bad; you've done well! Now...come to the Colorado RenFest and join us in a dance! MizmarMadness-dot-com [doom doom tek ka tek!]

  • oh wow what a lovely site i can draw some nice inspiration there :) Colorado is a bit far, though. thanks for the compliments, means alot coming from someone in a troupe! thank you!

  • You're certainly welcome - you earned it! Keep up the good work! Cheers!

  • Can make the most incredible bellydance costume and can wear it so beautifully...

but cant bellydance... oh the humanity.

Its kool I can bearly dance myself. Got 2 learn one day.

  • i can dance, somewhat, XD! Bellydancing takes alot of muscle isolation training to learn. It's hard to learn. i still can't do a stomach roll. lol! thank you for the compliments, Reknbal. :D

  • can't belly dance?? Well, is never too late to learn!!

    Beautiful costume! Thanks for sharing!!!

  • Wow you're very creative with those costumes :)

  • thank you, and thanks for the friend invite. :)

  • Very nice, the detail is great.

  • beautiful costumes!

  • thank you very much :)

  • Kwel video :)
