That was a 20 gal bucket. Our tank was a 5000 gal tank but it ultimately was shipped to a public aquarium in Minnesota. Probably 300 or so gallons there.
That was an Australian epaulette. A good hardy sand/bamboo shark type but very pricey (retail for over $300!). You'd do much better with the more common Indonesian/Philippine cat or bamboo sharks(retail for around $20-80). And they look and do just as well. Good luck.
I don't notice any temperment difference but I usually don't hold them for very long. Try the monsterfishkeepers site. Pretty good forum. Plus the other epaulette owners here on youtube. Good luck. These sharks are hardy and have personality. Hope they aren'y your first sharks though.
actually , I think epaulettes are quite easier than the common catshark(actually epaulettes are catsharks) at the pet store they are 250 to 300. we are buying one for a 180 gallon tank
@daedolos im filipino ofcourse and i saw a friend *my friend has a Blacktip Sharks and also had kept Zebra Sharks and Nurse Sharks and Filipino Bamboo Catsharks*has so many sharks in one tank!
is that a papuan epaulettes? im not to familier with the breed but im looking all around the for perfect speicies of sharks for my future aquarium purchase..... any advice if epaulette is a good shark speices to house and their price range.....it would be greatly appeciated to hear back
