Yeah i might just have to get a receiver and remote. but do you kno the url of those websites with the instructions on how to make a water rocket flight computer?
well i found a battery clip online and im about to order it. but is there any websites that i can find a flight computer to order? so i can connect my servo motor and the battery clip to it?
@willielajay I'm not aware of where you could buy a flight computer currently that's specifically designed for a water rocket and will drive a servo. Though there are quite a few designs available on the net and include instructions on how to build them yourself. Why not buy an RC receiver and use a remote control to trigger it when you need to.
Im not aftert a particular one. Bcuz i already have my servo motor. But i need tht battery piece to power it on. And im guessing i need a flight computer to connect the battery to the servo motor so i can turn it on.

@willielajay "That battery piece" I take it you mean the battery clip? Yes you need one of those. Connecting a 9V battery directly to the servo will not work and may damage it. You need to some kind of controller to drive the servo correctly and also step the voltage down to around 5V.
@aircommand waterrockets, maybe mass production should also limit the costs, and selling them wont be a problem, there are a lot of fanatics around here
@thunderrockets If all goes well in testing a limited number should be available again. Final pricing is still to be decided, as I am planning on having someone else assemble them, rather that doing it again myself.
@altradude Yes, we'll publish full details again. We need to do flight testing first to make sure it all works well before we finalize the documentation.
Ok. thanks

@willielajay Just go to our main website and look under Flight computer in the left hand menu. I can't post URLs here.
