  • This song was in original "Knight Rider" episode 'White Bird'.

  • Judy Kay hit #25 in Billboard, 1-29-83. God bless ya, for postin' it. Thanx! Have a great weekend!

  • Just googled the lyrics. Great lyrics, Great song.

  • Of all the hits performed by the great Juice Newton, this was my number one favorite hit. Fantastic video! I have always loved this song, but her other bigger hits got almost all of the airtime on the radio.

  • ...i cant even remember a hit song from...whats her name, Shanna something.

  • esta cancion, la de ojo en el cielo de alan parsons, comfortably numb de pink floyd, cheris de kool and the gang, drive de the cars, the new kid in town de the eagles, son canciones perfectas, o almenos a mi gusto son las mejores

  • I love this song also, should have been a bigger hit.

  • funny I dont remember this song, I like Queen of Hearts and Angel of the Morning much better. This isnt half bad though.

  • Beautiful song.....same title as Poco's = both different & beautiful....rok

  • Juice fans need a video collection on dvd....So wishing the powers that be would release something.

  • This has got to be my favourite Juice Newton song! and on terrific arrangement!

  • @tonyf734atl Yes, thank you! Arrangement! That is the perfect word to describe many of her hits and songs! They were so well arranged.

Also did you ever notice that no matter how loud the instruments are in a song her voice NEVER gets lost in it. Like in her song "cant wait all night". How many vocalist today could do that?

  • Nothing but class in this one.

  • Hit #4 AC, #25 pop, #53 country in Billboard. God bless!

  • A cool song, always has been. I love the way it builds and retains tension & energy. Well written, performed & sung. One of my all time favourites.

  • Little known fact that Larry Stewart of Restless Heart sang backup vocals. His unique voice stands out in the chorus.

  • my favorite juice song, love the first few dreamy seconds of the song.

  • @The096757 Good point. They establish mood so economically. It's in the arrangement, as another commenter above pointed out to me.

  • @palermo131

no sure what you mean by economically. they were skilled and the had to have inherent ability to make dreamy sounds like that. you won't find this kind of dreamy county pop anymore.

  • Very very cool tune! Love it!

  • i LUV this song!

i have the cd that has this song on it!

this is my favorite Juice Newton song!!!!!

    5/5 stars!!!!!!

  • beautiful & excellent song.

  • My favorite 80's country song.

  • Ah, the memories this song generates!

  • IMHO, this is her best song. I too am surprised it didn't chart higher.

  • This song is was such a great single. It's strange it didn't chart higher.

  • 26 years ago. Where the hell has the time gone? Awesome song!!!

  • lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I agree!! I remember this song as if it had debuted last week. Definitely Juice's best.

  • yeah, even if angel of the morning and queen of hearts reached higher in the charts, this song is nothing short of excellent.

  • It is excellent, and I'm not a Country fan.

  • I have loved this song since it came out in 1982 and thought it was one of Juice's best hits (it went all the way to #4, I looked it up!). Her voice is just GORGEOUS. And look a her -- even with that big '80s hair, she's stunning.

  • Wow, I didn't know it charted that high! The radio station I listened to at the time

(98 WCAU in Philly) didn't play it that often. :(

  • Heart of the Night went to #4 on the Adult Contemporary charts. It only went to #25 on the pop charts.

  • Then that must explain why I didn't hear it more often. :)

  • Notable canción,,,siempre andaba cantandola pero no me acordaba que era de la fantastica Juice Newton. Nostalgicos y maravillsoso ochentas.

  • it appears in Knight rider´s season 1 episode White bird

  • i love this song has the greatest beat ever...

  • juice at her best. Great backup vocalists!

  • She had some great songs in the 80's and this was my favorite. Always thought she was pretty hot too!

  • I loved this song as A kid,but didn't know who sung it.Juice Newton was cool!

  • Very nice song from a great artist.

  • Fantastic !

  • I too am not that big on country, but man, that last diverging backing vocal chord is amazing. Love it. Thx for posting.

  • Thank you for posting this forgotten classic.

  • I'm not A big country fan,but I like Juice,she was kinda the Shania of the 80's.

  • Haven't heard this song for ages. Whatever became of her as I thought she had a pretty good singing voice?
