  • that looks fucking sweet

  • When i grow up i want to be a flying squirrel.

  • Where is this? Looks really cool

  • if we ever go to war against Vietnam again that would be a brilliant way to deploy special forces in the jungle.

  • @GhilleVeteran00 Vietnamese will have a lot of fun too, hunting them down :)

  • @adrianTNT lol...i dont see how i can laugh at that after Vietnam but...lol

  • #1 on my to do list. this is pretty much flying for real. no strings attatched

  • i have a dream and that is to be the first man to smoke weed in SPACE !!!

  • @salmanyafiz

I want to do some DMT there, but you are first in line, Sir.

  • just the sound of the wind fucking scares me.

  • I cannot think of anything more fun than that. ( I do only think about it , only have brass balls not balls of frikkin' steel) but hey, in the comfort of my own home I can dream of big balls right? well , err you know what I mean.

  • @leesid74 , no thank you :P

  • WOOO00000ooooooo ²

  • Wooooooo

  • Why the heck did you cut the vid short?!?!

  • i wonder if the military uses wing suits to get special ops in under cover to remote places

  • Probably do. Never thought about that.

  • because we jump out with all of our equipment which can weight some times around 70 pounds. i probaly imagine weighig down the suit making it useless. 2nd we do a jump called HAHO or HALO haho is when you jump out in very high altitude deploying your suit right away which makes you glide far a far distance which is then like the wing suit

  • You can do this in JUST CAUSE video game!!!

  • Awesome

  • hvor er det?

  • lol soo close of hiting the side of the moutain...very little room for mistake..

  • @funnyshitman10

    You NEED to watch?v=qqhlfz9GQPE

  • aw man i gota do this, i get goose bumps just watching this vid. its awsome

  • SWOOOOOOOOP :-)))

  • Well it depends really the more netting and length the less controll and foward movement so its one thing or the other really

  • I wonder how long before they make this so they can actually land it without a shute. if they increased the arm and legs you would think it could be feasable land it.

  • no, the rate they are falling is still extremely fast

  • shit, thats something I have to do before I die.

  • maybe will be the last thing :)

  • Good idea.

  • talk about an adrenaline rush

  • Too much drop for the amount of forward movement. I wonder if bigger wings could work.

  • lol ur crazy....that forward movement is insane

  • they tend to get a lift:drag ratio of 2:1, so for every 1 foot they drop they go 2 feet forward

  • what would the ratio have to be to land it?

  • duno but i think for a landing, speed would be more important than angle and the suits don't give enough air resistance for slow them that much

  • 3:1

  • i wanna do that someday

  • There is a squirrel that does this trick for peanuts.

  • lmao

  • does anyone have any more information? I'm looking in terms of lateral distance. Like can you fly for miles? Or does it depend on how high up you are to get that nice 38-45 angle agaisnt the wind? I would like to know like approx how far you could possibly travel if you jumped from say 14K feet up?

  • 3:1 ratio 3 foot glide per 1 foot drop.

  • ive heard its 2:1 ratios.... 2 horizontal 1 down

  • Imagine if you flew into a flock of birds??? That would suck. Awsome video regardless 5 stars!

  • This really insane but awsome at the same time..

  • no normalnie gicior... ja też tak chce...

  • um.. what am i doing in montreal, going to school? this is insaaane!!

  • If you'd ever been in Norway.. xxx

    FINE FJELL!

  • nice nice niceeeeeeeeee

  • Nice commute to work!

  • man i just wanna be a skydiver

  • Dude, esto si esta bien super super super super super super super super super super super super awesome dude!!!

  • Respect. This was very cool.

  • gotta add that to my list of things to do before i die!

  • Respect, really nice!!

  • Nice

  • Yes...this is Romsdalen Trollwall

  • my kids will probably be into this.

  • Hello! Can somebody please tell me the jump location plaese? What country?

Is this spot legal to jump all year round?

  • Is that the Trollwall?

  • awesome the wingsuit.

    Mr. Chips

  • i wanna do this really bad but im only 12

  • i wanna do this so bad. please help me

  • this guys could show because with they dont

  • It's a matter of time before they increase the surface area of the suit to glide longer distances. Amazin. Way to push humanity.

  • Wingsuit is upwards of $1,000, BASE rig upwards of $1,500, jumps are free.

  • A typical base rig mfg wont sell to you unless you have at least 150 skydives. And about the same for safe wing suit flying. AT 13,000 FEET! BASE jumping @ 3000 ft with wing suit, in Kjerag in Lysefjorden is radical!

  • A grand? Bum to that, can get a kagoul from Millets for four quid that's just as good.

  • These guys really have no fear!

  • How much money does this cost

  • awesome, i cant believe the maneuverability in one of those suits

  • Amazing man

    Take care

  • that looks INCREDIBLE literally the stuff dreams are made of.

  • lol

  • this gotta be somewhere in norway? looks like it.. but didn't know they did this kinda insane sport here.. those guys sounded norwegian to.. am i right?

  • yeah, they are norwegian, and the contry looks like norway too.

  • What should I do to try this??

  • Book an airplane ticket.

  • I guess your 12

  • The discovery channel should have filmed these guys wow......just to be able to soar like that through mountains....its a dream come true.

  • I always dream doing that in my sleep, maybe it's time to find some place and really try it! ;-)

  • What I admire most about these people is they make their dreams a reality.

  • @jezuz12345

Maybe you should try Paragliding or eParagliding first, it's not as expensive and time-intensive...

  • VKB

  • wow, im definatly doin that b-4 i shrivle up N die

  • lucky guys! man has pined for this since we were cavemen! It cant get better than this!

  • @tomterahedrob

It can. See the jet pack turn into the rocket man. Plans to do this are laying around since about 80 years.

  • Where in Norway did you guys do this? I didn't know any Norwegians were good for anything else than raising taxes and brain washing children.

  • ...I suppose you're delighted to hear they're good at jumping off cliffs!

  • *dies*

It looks like you come so damn close to the mountain on the left at 32 seconds... about how far is that?

  • (im a WS pilot/BASE jumper)

it lookde to me between 10 and 40', the video is so small i cant tell.

  • truly amazing, captivating, and anything else that ends with ing.

  • norway!

  • tu speed mec !!!!!!

  • So good ! But where is this video from ? A DVD ? Personnal video ? Web site ?

    Please tell us !

  • It seems the limits of this are being pushed really quick. Amazing footage
