  • I always thought this was a little tongue-in-cheek type of thing commenting on people who have religion, and their attitudes toward it.. hmm

  • This is not even on Spotify!

    This is her best song!

  • You all know this song is about Lucifer right? The religion is Satanism.

  • @TwlightPixie Yes, satanism is the study of becoming your own God. I don't give a shit if you believe me or not, but don't say you were not warned. Again, "Angry Angel" is about lucifer as well.

  • @ForgeCafeVideos did she say that in an interview then or is it general knowledge?

  • @TwlightPixie I doubt she would ever admit it. I just know the language when I hear it.

  • @TwlightPixie Ignore them, they don't know what the hell they are talking about. *rolls eyes*.

  • The beginning sound like Chucky is after you O.O

  • One of my all-time favorite songs. <3

  • The first thirty seconds would be one bad choice for a batter's walk up song. Awesome.

  • This is too cool...

  • What the tempo for this song?

  • awesome song!

  • this is probably one of my all time FAVORITE SONGS. it has an amazing beat, and amazing lyrics. her voice is also PERFECT for this song. i like how it combines single words with frases. AMAZING SONG!!!!!!!

  • I LOVE IT.

  • its so spooky!

  • wow! there's no negative votes! clever peple on yt! :)

  • Beginning, end. Enemy, friend. Heaven, Hell. Sick, well. Truth, lies. Husbands & wives. Whisper, shout. In out In out. Laughter, cry. Ask, reply. Happy, sad. Right, wrong. Outcast, alone. LOVEITTT

  • South Park - 0:04 Timmy, Timmy, Timmy :D

  • I'm feeling a little bit of tori amos on a lot of her early tracks. both are amazing artists.

  • i love Imogen Heap

  • search "laughing with" by regina spektor its a sick song<3333

if you like the song please like my comment!!!

    thanks

  • Anyone else hear the phone bleeps in the song? ^^

  • Is that a rabit?

Reminds me of the rabit from Alice In Wonderland!

    Banjo855

  • Oh yeah whoever put this up shouldnt have a Speak for Yourself picture up because she was a different person than she is now when she wrote this song. You should have an I Megaphone picture up.

  • @INF3darkgreen

because I'm sure you really know what kind of a person she is...

  • @humancasualties Acually I do. but I don't want to get in a fight so I'll leave it at that

  • Music like this just helps us understand Imogen better so we can see where she came from and how she has changed

  • Simply amazing... :)

  • It sucks that I hated this song in the first few seconds... Not because of the actual music or Imogen Heap, She's great, but because of the fact it was the theme song for my GCSE drama piece which I hated with a passion -_-

I suppse if I dont think about that, I kinda like this this song, Imgoen's voice is just amazing!

  • iMegaphone was the first album I've ever heard from Imogen. Sure, it may be different from her newer albums, but I still love it (especially this song, best piano EVAR). So if anybody gets mad just because her older music (even the ones she did for BRIT school of music) is different, go die. If you were such a fan, why would it get you so angry?

*rant done* I love this song! First heard it when I was 4, scared me. Buahaha. :D

  • Wow! Immi got Annie Lenox to sing backing vocals! :) She's freaking amazing.

BTW, to even mention Imogen Heap in the same breath as ANY rapper, is to show the world how little you know about music.

Heap is a HIGHLY trained multi-instrumentalist who can create BEAUTY in almost any style/genre of music. Show me a rapper who can even READ musical notation - I mean really, dude.

If you like rap hop, whatever.......fine........just have enough intelligence, please, to not call it music.

  • Do you even know anything about musical notation? I'm not saying all hip-hop is wonderful, but I'm sure that many "rappers" know more about theory than a lot of rock/pop/country/etc. artists do.

  • 'A learning vessel of several lessons to make me more cleverer'!! Ha! Inspired. Love that line, so.....clever!

  • Not as good as her work on Details (Frou Frou), Speak for Yourself and Ellipse, but solid nonetheless. You can see she was still trying to define her musical style here--something which she capitalized on in future albums.

  • This is my lyrical (dance) song for this year. I'm so excited, I love this song!

  • Now THIS is talent compared to over-rated mainstream artists!

Imogen heap is unbelievably under-rated! It's crazy! If you ask me, she is one of the most awe-inspiring artists of our time~

  • This song gives me chills. Its so strange, I love it [:

  • Hey, where'd she get Annie Lennox to do back up vocals? ;)

    She is so versatile

  • this is one hell of a song! :)

  • fave imogen heap song =]

  • fave Imogen Heap Song is "The Walk" from 'Speak For YourSelf'.

  • I loveee this song.

Why dont they take the CRAP off the radio and play some awesome music like this?

  • word to big bird >:O lol

  • Yeah, they made a remake of her song 'Hide and Seek'. With some rapper. I was peeved. I mean, that's bull. No rap artist can compare to Imogen Heap.

  • I'm an Imogen Heap fan, but you're being pretty biased. I can name a few rap artists who are extremely innovative and just as talented in their field

  • You're being pretty biased. I'm an Imogen Heap fan, but can name a couple of rap artists I would rate as equally innovative and talented within their field

  • I may be biased, but it's an opinion. Am I not entitled to one, do I have to like every song you like?

  • Not at all, but it would appear you're disregarding the potential talent of somebody based purely on your distaste for what they do. A bit like saying "she's shit" on the basis that she sings opera, and maybe one doesn't like opera? Unless I mis read you, in which case I apologise

  • Of course no one rap artist can be compared to Imogen Heap. They would be way to different to compare. But the fact that Hide and Seek was used in a rap remix just shows the diversity of Imogen's music. It's amazing

  • oh man i walked into the kitchen the other day and i heard it i ran out of the room it was such a disgrace to her talent!!!

  • Exactly XD It's so angering!! D:<

  • her talent is that she has the ability to make all genres sound amazing. if your closed mind cant handle that then thats your fault

  • @tenderbloodrose exactly, nothing but crappy pop on the radio

  • @tenderbloodrose because they are not clever and everybody from the radio like that shitty kind of music... they could play IH

  • @tenderbloodrose Because most people like crap and dont understand the point of good music. i know its sickening, but its true. :s

  • @tenderbloodrose TOTALLY agree

  • why isn't this song more widely known? It's freaking awesome :].

  • Cause kids these days want some mainstream iish that all sound the same.

  • @DarkNightBlaze thats exactly why its not widely known though. People like shit more then they like real music these days<3

IMOGEN HEAP= Amazing entertainer and singer<3

    Love her<3

  • @DarkNightBlaze This song came out in 1999, just before the whole itunes phenomenon, so it kinda got lost in translation along with the other hidden jems of the 90's
