Yes this is true, but I just thought I would mention that he openly acknowledges this, whilst many people claim it's some "anti-semitic" conspiracy, despite being a well-recorded historical fact that one can easily look into and discover for themselves.
The fact of the mass-conversion of the Khazars has no-doubt deliberately been censored over the years from wider knowledge (even from many younger Jews) as it dilutes their claim to the "Land of Israel (ie: Arab Palestine).
