Gallardo SE has always been one of my favorite cars and I still think I'd take it over the LP-560, eventhough I love the facelift on the new 560... Although imagine when Lambo makes the LP-560 Superleggera, that should be one impressive car.

LP-560 superleggera..? Well, nothing I've heard of... But I know that the Lamborghini boss sayed that there will be a faster, lighter version of the LP-560-4 which will be named LP-560-2.. A 2 wheel drive LP-560.. Going from 4 wheel drive to 2 wheel drive means losing weight.. Which means speed.. ^^,

Well I'm assuming they're gonna make another track tuned Gallardo (less weight, more power, possibly RWD, etc.) Superleggera means "super-light" so I'm just assuming they might stick with the same name, just all assumptions at this point nothing factual...

I have a 2004 Gallardo. My friend just picked up 2008 Superleggera and he's pretty upset at how the LP560 is faster on the track for 100k less. The next superleggera is going to hurt the wallet big time.

how do you work that out? I love Lamborghini as much as anyone but if you take the Nurburgring (as an example) the Scuderia is 1 second quicker than the LP-640, 7 seconds quicker than the Superleggera and 13 seconds quicker than the LP-560. It isn't a fair comparison though, perhaps if Lamborghini did a Superleggera version of the LP-560 it would be a closer contest. After all, Ferrari have said that the Scuderia is supposed to match the Enzo around the Ferrari test track

I don't think it's a really fair comparison. The Scuderia islike stripped out. No carpets, no radio, carbon fiber here and there. It costs more as well. The Lamborghini has Sat Nav, Aircon, a radio, heated seats, all your needs. Though the only thing in common is the performance. The Gallardo tops out faster than the Ferrari. And it's acceleration is about the same.

Why dont you put it like this: The Scuderia has a 4.3ltr V8 producing 520hp, the LP560-4 has a 5.2ltr v10 producing 560hp. The Scuderia is stripped out because its a race car, nothing would disturb you. While the LP560-4 feels like a 2 seat family car lol. in the end i'll say that the Scuderia is so much more grown up and so much more pure Engineering it shows.

no comparison, a friend of mine has a Ferrari F430 Novotic, but my Gallardo has more luxury than his ! and if u compare Gallardo to F430's there are simillar in the performance !
