how do you get your tone. I cant even come close to matching dimes tone and you got a real decent setup going man, great cover

@z28dylan the basic tone is achieved by dropping the mid range to 1 or zero then turn up you gain and treble all the way. Add slight chorus and reverb or delay to add some depth if you'd like. Then get a Digitech Whammy pedal.

Dime used a vintage Doubler effect but chorus kinda sounds similar ...research man ...good luck

i have two dean razorbacks, a cemetery gates that i love to play and a flying v that i dont like as much im thinking about selling but i wont a dime slime washburn so bad its a bad ass guitar but there so rare and when you do find one for sale there expensive isnt it a 24 fret?

@Aug66dimebagDec04 fucking sweet man. i wish i had that many guitars. no this one is only 22 frets. i bought it on ebay for 300 bucks and it was slightly damaged where the input is. it was cracked. so i replaced the input with this cool skull input and put skull knobs on it.

I'll put pictures up sometime.

I noticed theres a couple different types of dimeslimes. Mine has the black head stock and the others the head stock matches the body with the sunburst pattern.

@panterajoey I have the same one you do. the difference is the ones we have are the 333 w/ black headstock and green back. and the other ones are the Dime3 USA with matching headstock , different shade of green and brown back. I got mine on ebay 4 yrs ago and I paid 450 shipped to my door and havent seen one that cheap since.at least that I noticed. good job btw, I know that solo is a fucking bitch to pull off.

Now as far as your Dime Slime goes. Dime Washburns in general are really hard to get a hold of. And YES, it is indeed 24 frets. Check ebay, and make sure the specs for it work out to your liking (i.e: It's not fucked up in any way, etc.). I've seen a good few on there. Some for pretty cheap. People dont know whats its fuckin worth
