How anybody can give a thumbs down is beyond me ! This is free lesson, this guy invested his time and heart to help us play the song and the lesson is nothing but perfect. Even if it wasn´t, you still should be thankful for any piece of advice that helps you play this song.
When I´m reading all the comments in on the different guitar videos, I´m getting the impression that a lot of (pseudo)guitar players are a bunch of pretentious a-holes!
great lesson and if you and a word of advice to who is trying to learn the solo if you find this lesson is a bit to fast marty schwarts has a great lesson on this but still a great lesson you helped me with a lot of the riffs
Just finished mastering this solo! (after a solid week) It's amazing how learning a solo like this improves your improvising skills. This took my soloing to a new level. Thank you (again) Justin!
My fingers are bleeding and i cant be happier, there should be a warning that says you shouldn't work on all three vids in the one day for fear of loss of finger tips.
you my friend have amazing musical taste! and from what ive seen so far every song you have taught is played in the most accurate way possible and since ultimate guitar has blocked all eric clapton tabs for me and im not so great at learning by ear just yet, i find your lessons really helpfull and i dont think you have posted a lesson on a song i dont adore so thankyou so much.
what's interesting is how I play the same song with some very different positions, some of Jason's seem unnecessarily difficult, while others are certainly better than those I use.
Those 303 people are noobs at guitar and dont undestand the skill behind justins teaching methods. Not usually a kiss ass, but this guy puts in a lot of time for these lessons and i have personally learnt A LOT!
I dont understand how so many people dislike this video :S If you dont like the video lesson you should watch Clapton play it and try transcribing it yourselves.
Im actually grateful this video is available.....Keep them coming!!!
Awesome lessons Justin! The only thing I am confused about is which tab you keep referring too in the lessons for this song? Where did you get it, I'd love to grab it!!
Justin, seriously thanks. I'm only a beginner and didn't think I'd ever play anything this cool. With your fine lessons and lots of practice from me, I can. You've helped me on my journey and I am forever grateful. Keep it up dude, don't know if I can do it without ya.
I really can't figure out why 300+ people dislike this video. Justin is by far one of the best teachers on the net. Even better then the "paid" web sites. He is methodical, logical and he can out play anyone. His camara work needs a little updating but other then that he is the best - please keep them coming and thanks. Robert..
@Bobbymcduff42 I think its cause theyre lazy, there are moments where he only says "trip-let" and plays the note, if you listen and repeat it you can get it yourself, but he doesnt say which notes (frets/strings?) are played. He goes slow and then fast, and I guess people dont understand the ability to rewind :P
Thank you very much for this lesson. Big fan of your videos. But for next time, I would rather see that you made a 4th video instead of explaining so fast in the ending just so you make the 10 minutes limit..
idoits...i mean those whol can't play d guitar dislike this video......303 better not touch d guitar its not meant for u ppl....u'll dont hav patience.....anyways greaaaaaaaaaaat lesson SIR
justin =) it would be really nice of you if you did the electric version as well, because this video was amazin. And the ONLY reason you have 300+ dislikes, is that you get sh*t guitarists thinking they can play a song like this, and they carn't. so if you carnt play it, don't vote it down! and I think this was an amazing lesson because I can play along with the original recording!!
i'm kind of wondering that u have long nails at the right hand like a classical guitarist and on the other hand dont use your pinkie throughout the video... but anyway great lesson =) thanks very much. i wasn't able to learn it by tabs only ^^
Wow , why so many ppl disliked this awesome vid ... just because he doesn't explain every single lick some fags disliked it.. He did a close up so you can see better whats going on .. try learn by ear - at least that's how I learned it...10x justin i feel like I need to pay you for all you've tought me.. keep rockin'!
Guys, get tab from google) there is a small difference between tabs and what justin plays, but that does not realy matter. Learn small pieces from tab, then listen to what Justin says and what he plays. Learn the solo just step by step.

I really like how you play it note to note, or at least so close you can't tell, to the original unplugged version. Much better than people making up "filler notes" when clapton is actually not playing them. great job...video is a little speedier than the rest but it's not meant for beginners anyways. thanks
