  • This made me cry.

    Amen, Jack.

  • "I have to Kill...Bill!"

  • great song but the band mates of jack white looked scared to try to improvise ...some say he is a control freak

  • @crazysanor id be afraid to improv on live tv...

  • He was black and I was White.Jack White :))

I've always wanted it but never knew the name.

  • @WinkingNinja

I don't know but i'm sure it's a one of his vintage stuff. Maybe Gretsch or Framus.

  • You guys are awesome. My clip is of seals playing with Stingrays at Narooma NSW Australia. I am playing my own piano arrangement. I am totally in awe of this song. It is amazing. Clive

  • Awesome, gives me the shivers!

  • i think its funny when people say, man i wish i could play like that! well you can if you practice, but what i wish is that i had imagination it takes to do what jackwhite does. it is simply amazing what he does for rock music.

  • listening to the raconteurs is almost as good as sex

  • This sover is simply incredible...!

  • AWESOME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • HOLY SHIT! WOW! ...just... WOW!

the beginning is something akin to what i think QotSA would play, but take away some of the bass and a little rhythm guitar, and you got something like QotSA would play.

  • Jack is unusually calm this time...

  • where is this? when?

  • anyone know where i can watch the full austin city limits show of the raconteurs?

  • God damn Jack's a good singer, he does the vocal effects of the original version perfectly!

  • You know someones a good musician when they can take a piece of crap pop song and make it awesome

  • When the guitar started up I thought to myself, "Wow, this should really be in a Tarantino flick." I didn't remember till about half way through!

  • Aeeeee...I love this style of guitar....Im soo getting me a Lp like that....My mouth waters over that guitar

  • if your talking about brendan benson's guitar its not a les paul its a guild aristocrat :)

  • Tarantino is awesome, so is this song.

  • This song was actually originally by Nancy Sinatra.

  • Nope, covered by Nancy Sinatra. Written by Sonny Bono for Cher. It was her second single released, then covered by Sinatra that same year.

    Cool song though.

  • @nathanlittle and it is on the kill bill's OST

  • @nathanlittle cher really... why?

  • @nathanlittle isent it an italien song by origine? called I corvory or something?

  • written by sonny bono!!

  • o.o Yeah, just googled that. Apparently my friend's an idiot for telling me that. -.-'

Though, I'm also an idiot for not looking it up, myself. Sorry guys.

  • @LadyxPandora No it wasnt... it was originally made my Cher. Made famous by Kill Bill... Quentin Tarantino FTW

  • Comment removed

  • @LadyxPandora You don't know, original is Cher not Nancy for more info read Wikipedia

  • its funny, i can always tell about when a video was shot just by how jack white has his hair cut... haha... it is always similar, but at the same time cut very differently depending on the year...

  • man i LOVE jacks guitar!

  • I was just thinking the same thing. This song is so perfect for them and it's not even theirs. I love how they can manipulate any song with their virtuosic abilities and make it their own and make it beautiful at the same time. Like I almost cried watching/hearing this. <3 It has such an incredible sound.

  • This made me smile

  • rocked that song right into outer space

  • pure beauty

  • Hauntingly beautiful ! INTENSE and

    brilliant!

    thank you!

  • Never knew much about Jack White until I caught this song on Austin City Limits. Blew me AWAY!

  • same here. never really listend to them then one night i was sleeping and i woke up and this show was on. austin city limits. i was like damn, this sounds good

  • Love this song. However, I've tried a bunch of other Jack White videos and I'm not feelin' 'em.

  • one word; AMAZING!

  • Is Jack using some sort of whammy affect on his voice or just singing weird?

    Still, love it.

  • singing wierd:P

  • good old song remake

  • super super band!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • It's so good cause they understand and feel this song, without it and without their music tact and true talent it couldn't be the same,so perfect.

  • lol i just watched this tonight, they put so much energy and life into this i love it

  • murder by death does a great version of this song.

  • This is by far the best cover I've heard in a while. Too bad it's not on any of their albums.

  • anyone know where to download this?

  • It's from Austin City Limits, PBS

  • watch?v=xUrXAYxjWJQ

  • wonderful. That solo is just right on. Perfection.

  • really love this

  • Is there any tabs for the raconteurs version? Im trying to learn it from nancy sinatra tabs but they are slightly different

  • it's a Sonny Bono song...it's pretty kick ass!!

    : )

  • uh...Sonny Bono? I'm pretty sure this is a Nancy Sinatra song. Could be wrong, but i don't think so

  • If i could play any instrument like any of them play, id die a happy man :)

  • i can play any instrument you hear. i just cant make all at the same time. its easy. they suck.

  • @pomolo349

lol who cares how hard it is to play? If you like to listen music which is hard to play then you shouldnt listen to rock music only stuff like joe satriani, marcus miller and stuff....

  • @ChuckyDieEnte I was ansewring to that guy 80XY. I love the way raconteus play but they suck as musicians. and yes when I say "good" musicians I mean very few people in history :P

  • @pomolo349 you have to say dimebag darrel then :P

  • @reidotrance if you want a guitarist I say brian may. he was a genious ;)

  • @pomolo349 but you cant deny dime's skill and inteligence ;D

  • @pomolo349 Music dosnt need to be technical to be good. Its all about the flow and the beat.

  • @djgahg I dont disagree. It was just a guy who was saying "I wish I could play like that" or somethin. and I said it's too easy. thats all

  • @80XY or if I could sing like Jack

  • @80XY hmmm ... i'd be a happy man playing for a couple of decades nonstop before dieing a happy man, and i would die while playing,

  • ..fuck yes, this is awesome

  • you can tell that the drummer's used to playing Broken Boy Soldier right after this, he almost goes into it at the very end.

  • chills and i meen it its not just an expression

  • you sir ..are a moron

  • isnt it actually nancy sinatra's bang bang?

  • nancys is just another cover of sonny bonos and chers

  • well thanks for clearing that up, obv my gf doesnt know what shes talking about because she said the original is by Nancy, guess not...
