  • @AkuKiniKembali That's why your country full of terorist and extremist because of your narrow minded about religions. And this movie isn't about religion it's about believing to achieve something and it's translated to many languages for the union and love of the world. I feel sorry for your children because of your narrow minded and your hatred they dont see what they suppose to see.

    讓信仰帶著我,影響奇跡,真心相信,你將會有,你將會有奇跡。

    (第五段-希伯來合唱團),(第六段-重復第四段)

  • @naohuadeng 说得好. well said.

  • Very delicate and beautiful!

  • @ chaniwie,

For a translated version of song it's already pretty good. Just as beautiful as any other versions.

I am a pro musician and you can trust me on this one.

  • chaniwie: you suck :)

I personally think this is good so suck it up buttercup if you don't like it.

  • 我們憑著信念,不在乎山有多高。

    我覺得是這樣耶@@

  • 對!是信念 而不是 心意。謝謝提醒 Xp

  • wow this is so amazing such a great song i've heard the english version so many times but i think that this is much better

  • Um...you keep on stating that the Cantonese version is better, but I know you're just stating an opinion -- and I think Cantonese is better (Mandarin speaker =]). Just pointing that out.

  • im studying chinese-mandarin now.and one thing that i learned is you don't have to translate chinese-english word for word,as long as the context is there its ok.

  • this is 1 of the best chinese "covers" i've ever heard...simply beautiful

  • I LOVE this version. I think the voices of mariam and zipporah are higher then in the other versions i heard but i love it. i want to learn mandarin :P. i´m already buissy with japanese but i´d like to learn mandarin to though because of the pronunciation it´s rather difficult. oow and as tramchip already asked, can anyone post the lirycs of this song????

  • Could some one please post the Chinese lyric of this song on

  • Wow. Whoever is singing as Miriam ( That IS her name, right? ) has a GORGEOUS voice! Wow! And this is probably my favourite version so far! Thanks for uploading this! x3

  • btw about the video, I think the translation is pretty good. "I believe there will be miracles if we keep walking". It fits with the fact that they are walking out of Egypt based on faith alone. :)

  • And FYI taiwanese are always in dramas and music stuff because they are a free "country" (I use that loosely) and talented people have more opportunity to shine. According to your logic Hollywood stars are "servants" as well? XD. The simple fact that China has to have a Firewall keeping it's citizens ignorant should tell you which side feels more guilty. New generations of Chinese people dont even know about the Tiananman massacre.

  • Was here to listen to the music yes, but when I see people that are so outrageously dumb like pinpoint654 I felt that I had to say something. He doesn't even understand "accent". And people in the media are servants w.....t......f....

  • Taiwanese people pronounce mandarin more like it is in the Pinyin whereas Mainland Chinese roll their tongues a LOT more and also their pronunciations of tones deviate a lot more from the written pinyin. No matter where it came from, it's still an accent.

  • Omg pinpoint654 has to be the most ignorant poster on youtube I've seen. XD You have an accent no matter where you are from. English came from Britain yet people still say "Brittish accent" when they are used to other accents, just as Americans have "American accents" and they tend to roll their tongue a lot more.

  • ok i might be the only person posting about the video itself. haha.

i like how miriam's voice here is so similar to the english version.

  • Me too

  • 非常美丽! ~

  • Could anyone please tell me who is singing it? Her voice is so pretty...

  • beautiful!

  • 誰唱的?

  • love it

  • ugh. guys stop arguing. this song is beautiful and alludes to a deeper message. love it.

  • Wow.中文@@

  • ANYWAY

    beautiful song. God bless you!

  • well i think the translation sucks, this is not disney cartoon, 'coz in mainland, the dubbing supervisor ZHANG Yun-ming or taiwan's WANG CHING-ping can totaly control it better, sadly, it produced by dreanworks and dubbed by Ezenhall(pinyin:YI YAN TANG which is one of biggeest dubbong agency in taiwan), they should concern the lyric translation more, dreamworks should make a putonghua version. hehe. if someone is intersted in the chinese lyric, post me i'll help u.

  • Can you send me the Chinese lyrics?

  • i have to completely disagree with u. i think this translation is great! they didn't translate every word in the original lyrics but they managed to keep the spirit and the meanings faithful to the orignal. The only bad translation for this song would've been that they'd translated the song word by word!

  • i didnt say they didnt translate properly.

  • whoot!! mandarin~~

  • what is the name of this song in mandarin, many thanks

  • when u believe

    DANG1 NI3 JIAN1 XIN4

    当你坚信 (SC)

    當你堅信 (tc)

  • no offence to the girls but their mandarin is...not that good.. not fluent...sound like they're taiwanese or something..countryppl... but overall the song is REALLY GOOD! luv this song!

  • yeah i think thats 100% taiwanese... mainland chinese dont sound like that... they have a much stronger accent....

  • yeh.. i recon, for these type of songs, they should choose mainland chinese, it just sounds better with this type of music because its more...'proper?', i recon taiwanese is more suitable for hiphop or yanoe..more modern stuff.

  • that's total crap! mainland mandarin is no better than taiwanese mandarin, just as taiwanese mandarin is no better than that of mainland china. they're just two different accents so there's no comparison to begin with. it's just like comparing american engilsh with britsh english. can you honestly say which is better or "proper" english? NO! YOU CAN'T!!

  • mainland china has no accent, mandarin originated from there. taiwanese have that accent. if there is no proper english, ahy do we call the british, english.

  • you only think mainland china has no accent becuz ur probably from mainland china yourself! and for u to ask that kind of question, it just shows how utterly ignorant and foolish u really are. and i feel like i'm talking to a 3 year old!

  • actually, im shanghainese

  • and why actually? I would like to know,in fact,to know you. 我叫喬納唐和我來從智利.我等你回答

  • why what? all the way from chile? woaw.

  • btw, even though i said that im shanghainese (refer to previous comment) i'm born in australia and lived there my whole life. bystanders hear things more clearly. and. you only think that all language have their own accent. but really, so you know what an accent is, its when someone who speaks a language tries to speak another language, if they're just not too good, they have a accent from the language they speak before it. i feel like i'm talking to a person with down syndrome..

  • and excuse the previous typos.

  • I'd like to say you know, mandarin is from the mainland, so their way of speaking is the correct way, so it's taiwanese who have an accent, you can't say that the mainland people have an accent because it's their languGE.. and you can't compare it to english, because the language is after all from the mainland, and it's the taiwanese who are just using it..

  • That's like saying the Brits got no accent cus English came from Britain.

  • "you can't say that the mainland people have an accent because it's their languGE"

Since you're dutch, i won't be blaming you not knowing Taiwanese are ethnically Chinese as well. Even ppl from different part/province of china speaks mandarin with different accents, plz do not simplify facts.

The official accent is Pekingese Mandarin.

Also, all of the Disney clip you see here is dubbed by Taiwanese, as you can clearly tell from the accent if you are familiar with the languguage well enough.

  • dont you think they'd hire someone from mainland China if they could sing better? I think the Taiwanese singers in this clip are amazing.

  • lol. mainland china is famous for cheap labor force. besides, the average income of Taianese is 10 times more than the average income of mainland chinese.

  • compare the populations.

  • How are Taiwanese people "countryppl"? I'm American, but from what I've heard, Taiwan is much more industrialized and city-like than China, which is mostly rural and poor. Taiwan is famous for being one of the Four Tigers of Asia (Singapore, Taiwan,Hong Kong, South Korea) it's much LESS country-ish than mainland.

  • its just a saying

  • no you can't just Say things. you think you don't have to be held responcable for whatever false fact you're spreading around?

glad you like the singing though.

  • i didnt make up the word 'countrypeople' its just a saying thats made for xiangwuning(shang)/xiangxiaren(mando)/hyunghayen(canto)... which ever way u wanna say it...

  • MilanWisteria you're correct. Thank you for clearing that up.

  • actually people in Taiwan consider mainland mandarin to sound hillbilly.

  • so? its 'proper' mandarin. Taiwanese mandarin is really hard to listen to especially one with really strong accent. Even for a shanghainese, its hard.

  • just like australian/american english and british english. British thinks american english is tacky, and australian english really slang. we think british english is rigid and cold in a way and its just too posh

  • Like wise, Mainland thinks Taiwanese Mandarin sounds hillbilly...

  • wtf??? aer you kidding me?

All of the clips you see here is dubbed by Taiwanese!! Taiwanese mandarin sounds so much better since is clearer.

  • .... do you know why taiwanese are always in dramas and music stuff? cuz ppl who act and sing are only considered as entertainers who serve. to entertain you, they are no more of a servant of sorts, ppl just think differently these days. theres these things called pride and honor n shit like that... thats why there aint alota mainland chinese in dramas and musical stuff.
