I was very lucky mate, there was this dj in Swansea who had a big clear out, was a few grandz worth of big tunes like this, i remeber i had all the Streetbeat truper volumes for £2 each-their worth £50 each now and other biggies like remarcs, ganja man tune, arsonist tune, etc etc etc-this list goes on.

Jungle and weed was the dark, depressed and paranoid come-down after too many pills and too much acid house and hardcore- this is one of the reasons why a lot of the music in and around 94/95 was moody
There ain't no wonder, people used to take guns into jungle clubs in 1994- everybody was on edge, bad-boys swaggering about, many many gangs, dope smoking yardies- volatile dark music, volatile moods.
Yes, i am not talking about everywhere and not all the time- and not all the tunes were moody, i was just looking at a wider,say 10 year timescale from acid house through to drum and bass but especially around 94/95, the way the music progressed from happy to dark, at the same time, drug taking shifted from a lot of pills to a lot of weed, off course generally people had fun- we wouldn't go to clubs at all if we thought we were going to end up shot or stabbed.
