I was a 5th-former and 11 years old, when i heard this track the first time in May 1994 on the Cd-compilation Hypnotrance (released in Germany). Great memories.
..your right..i heard this first at the holy-y-mas @ dorian gray / ffm in 1993, i loved it from the first second...for me the best track ever the do !
this actually is rave. hardtrance is a descendant of it... few people can hear the differents but there is a small just look in to the Electronic music guide.
@johan11041984 Hmm... what was i drinking? :) As a huge fan of this phenomenal subgenre it's usually me that's pointing out to others what's hardtrance/(happy)hardcore and what's rave. It's indeed a thin line and for outsiders hard to see. Imo it's about atmosphere: fast/banging (like hardcore), serious (like original hardtrance), positive and with a message (celebrate/let go!). So, your obviously right, it's a fantastic rave track! Westbam's Celebration Generation sums it up quite well too.
