  • Worship in spirit and in truth, not in the flesh.

  • This reminds me of Scriptual way of dancing yall know wat I mean? It reminds me of old testament I gues Im trying to say all I know is that Im diggin it

  • The Glory and Splendor dance is pretty to me

  • Yea and amen we declare victory in Zion in these days!!

  • thing of beauty

  • This kind of thing is shown to be valid only by the way they treat each other and unbelievers . . if they do not love one another and are neither forgiving nor merciful this stuff becomes the sensuality andself indulgence the anti charismatics say it is.

and if anyhere get nasty with me for saying so I will be proven right - and this stuff is but idolatry and power hunger masqueradingas worship

  • @Strefanash No one is perfect at loving, but we should all try. Yes, w/o love in our hearts and w/o growth in our lives it is ALL MEANINGLESS. Yet comparing this prophetic praise to sensuality and self indulgence is far reaching. We are properly clothed and our focus is on God and we are connecting with the Holy Spirit. This is also one tiny SNIPPET & doesn't give the bigger picture of the entire evening. Worshiping God is HUMBLING. We worship the ONE TRUE GOD- no idols!

  • Wow..I gotta say.. I enjoy worship and praise of God with flags.. But this whole thing strikes me as pure Chaos. People worshiping as though they couldn't do it without a flag or a hoop in their hand. True worship comes from within and flags and hoops are supposed to be an expression of that overflow of worship and praise.. but if i were lost..or a new christian and saw the video displayed.. i would run as far away from that as i could. God is awesome, but are you giving him what He is lookin 4

  • @JohnAndreww84 We all have personal preferences and its okay to worship w/o a flag or w/o raising your hands. Some people prefer hymns and that is okay, too. The purpose of worship is connecting w/God. The beauty is that we can express our love and adoration to God in creative ways. Yes, it may look "chaotic," because we are various individuals not dancing in a single unified choreography- its as simple as that. Yet, we are dancing in unity by the Holy Spirit. I assure you, God is not confused.

  • ELECTRIFYING!!!! WOOOOOOOO!!!!! I wish I could have been there!!

  • this is intense! praise to JESUS!

  • praise him

  • praise him

  • very seek ppl ...jew trap .wake up ppl .amaizing lies

  • @essi8757 Harsh and Hateful- you don't know us. You say that we are "slick people" and that is very sad that you think so, but you are entitled to your own suppositions and paranoia. We are all walking a journey and some are at a place of understanding and some are not- no condemnation, just give us the benefit of the doubt even if it just seems too different. Maybe there are some things you can learn from people that are different from yourself.

  • WOW!!! I felt as though my spirit was leaping within me. As though the Word of God would be true that if we did not praise Him, the rocks would cry out. Praise God forevermore!

  • awesome stuff

  • no no NO please not a women leading. NOO.

And It sounds creapy and chaotic. Like people searcing for something religieus. Beside that I can't hear any profecy in it.

This hole thing sounds like, come on, make a party together, make a religion,.

The Love of our Redeemer has nothing to do whith this kind of things.

    I am sorry

  • @LeMagdalin No, don't be sorry. I detect that you are concerned. I would like to bring some comfort to you if I can. We disagree on women in leadership so there's no point arguing that, but we do have some common ground. We do believe in the Apostle's Creed and the Love of our Redeemer. The prophetic is in the Biblical words that were spoken and titled on the video. We are depicting a Scripture. This is a creative expression, like a drama. It may be different from what you like, but its not bad.

  • awesome!!!!To GOD BE THE GLORY!!!!

  • There's no place in the Bible with this kind of worshiping. Be vaey careful with this nonbiblical things.

  • @shawlom77 Okay, I would like you to read my book on Biblical Dance which gives the HEBREW First/Old Testament and GREEK Second/New Testament references to DANCE on my web site's shop. Prophetic Mime and Drama is even in the Bible! I once thought that dance was not Biblical until I got an education.

  • I have to say, very theatrical but just more female dominated charismatic christianity. I'm sure you had a good time, but probobly not as impacting as you thought.

  • @billingsdad65 You weren't there so you don't know what the impact was and you would only be able to access the impact it had on you by the video. Making insults against women in ministry (which is BIBLICAL) is unacceptable. There were plenty of MEN and a proper MAN covering if you are so concerned about that. Some like, some don't, so what- we aren't doing this for the approval of others, LOL.

  • There is only 9 verses for a banner or standard in the entire Bible but people make a doctrine about it.Extreme does not mean normal. If you run around waving flags normally? Where was the mighty altar call and the people praying for the lost? "To the nations? What about america?

  • @latabanza No making a doctrine around banner, saying you have to do it, would be wrong. There was a mighty altar call and people praying for the lost and calling out to Nations and America.... this is one TINY SNIPPET - one video shot of any entire weekend.

  • Upon further study of the prophetic word given which used "violent praise" and also referred to a particular Scripture- it means "Break Out" as in sheep breaking out of a temporary pen. It was common for Shepherds to create a night shelter which the sheep would break out of in the morning when it was time to graze. The better translation or modern English term (to cause less misunderstanding) would have been "Break Out Praise."

  • Can I order a copy of this DVD with the prophetic worship?

  • Piper Media 800.752.5346

  • @JoyConference Also remember the scripture that sais the Violence taketh by force thats wat I got when I heard it

  • @Jerome9055 Yeah, but even that Scripture is misunderstood. It means that the forceful ones with courage and God's power by the Holy Spirit are the ones that will advance the Kingdom. Those that will take initiative and action and do the will of God on earth as it is in Heaven. -not the sleeping pew sitters and hypocrites.

  • I was so moved and blessed by this video. GLORY TO GOD!!!

Keep being allll that God has created you to be.

  • that was awesome. I didn't even know prophetic dance and flag worship existed until the Lord revealed it to me, then I came looking online and found videos like this. Its so moving to see true worship. Praise the Lord!

  • I have been enjoying the videos and the discussion very much. I was wondering if prophetic artists also come to these conferences, or are they mainly for dancers?

  • Artists, writers, speakers, dramatists and dancers attend. Those involved in the creative arts and those who just love to worship God attend.

  • both

  • Ohh, one more thing. You said the kingdom of "god" , Allah or which ever one your refering to, is advancing. All standing religions are whitdrawing as we speak whit from a few hundred 'till tens of thousands everyday, depending on location adn what branch it is. So much for your war.

  • You are misinformed. The Kingdom of God is at hand. NOT Allah, NOT Buddha, NOT Krishna, NOT satan... But the God of Abraham, Issac, & Jacob who is known as the YHWH.

  • We are not talking about "religion." This is not a war on whose religion has the most people. We are talking about Salvation!

  • And this is the Kingdom... That God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish but will have everlasting life. This is our cause.

  • Every Knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord! Praise God! Beautiful!

  • Religion is for those to weak to stand on their own to feet. Its nothing but primal instintcs searching for the alpha male. Ohh, and btw. Both the sond and the dancing is completly worthless. You'd expect a god to give more to his subordinates.

  • Jesus said that any religion without love is worthless. We have love and that love is what sets us free. Not only are we able to stand on our feet, we are also able to dance. It's not about religion; a set of rules or traditions, it is all about a relationship with God and the freedom to express ourselves in that relationship. Jesus is a liberator!

  • Dance, love and relations are all human emotions and actions ( or in some cases states of mind, depending on your character)the only thing you added was god. The things you described come from early parenting and social interactions influense on your brains development betwen the ages 2-6 and 11-16. Not your god.

  • Not necessarily. I grew up believing dance as a form of worship was wrong. Then I had an encounter with God that changed all that. While we all have family and social "conditioning," we are not entirely bound by this. I am reminded of a Scripture that says God has set us free. People can learn and change and are not just victims of circumstance or conditioning. I offer up my gifts and talents to honor and love God.

  • SOrry for waiting so long with the response. In any case, jesus is not a liberator. In fact, Christians have the standing record of massmurder AND opression in the entire history of mancind. Your the only ones that beat STalin and Hitler. Death is the liberation you're messiah has brought to the world.

  • When wicked people murder innocence, someone must defend them. This is the case with Hitler! This is justice. Hitler was the mass murderer! It is not a sin to defend one's self or another person. Would you not defend yourself if someone sought to murder you? Also, not everyone who claims Christianity is in fact a true follower of Jesus who came to bring life!

  • It's not "primal," more than it's just different to your experience and understanding. So in order to explain it to your mind you will naturally associate it with something else you have seen or heard. However, I assure you that it is in fact something entirely beyond your experience.

  • If you have not made a decision for Jesus to be your Lord and Savior and if the Holy Spirit has not breathed life into your soul, you will be unable to decipher this worship. You will only judge it with your own set of definitions that will keep you confined within your own levels of comfort.

  • It's actualy most primal, wich has been proven many times. I was raised in a Christian house and Ive felt the love and feeling of belonging you get from religion. Ive been singing, Ive been dancing and I have celebrated you'r "god". And I assure you, its a bunch of crap. It's like a drug, it makes you feel so good. But fact remains, it's easy to prove that everything in the bibble is composed of folk tales and lies twisted to give power to the Catholic churc. And all christians hei from it.

  • Yeah, I thought that something must have happened to make you bitter. Sorry that you were so hurt. I know that not all Christians act as they should. Sin is everywhere. You have to find truth and the love of God and hang on to that and not let it go. Where have you gone now spiritually? Have you ever given your life to Jesus? People are not God and you can't think what a person does 100% of the time means that is how God is doing it, too. Misunderstandings occur as well.

  • Maybe you know some things about God being in church and all, but do you know God. You can know about the President of the U.S., for example, but have you actually met him? It's like that about God. Perhaps you need a better experience with God. Don't give up searching for Him. The Bible says that if you seek Him with all your heart, you will find Him.

  • Are you really from Sweden? What church in Sweden dances? What denomination or religion were you brought up in? Are you an Anti-Semite? Are you part of the Anti-Christ network? Just wondering.

  • First of all let me say that He is not "a god" He is THE ONE TRUE GOD and there is no other GOD beside HIM! This clip is one moment in our worship history. There are many other valid expressions of worship. If someone connects with God by worshiping quietly and singing from a hymnal that is a very beautiful and valid worship expression. The point is connecting with God and that personal relationship. God is complex. Who is to say that we are not also an expression of His?!

  • And no, he's not the true god. If you analyze the patterns of all religions, you'll see they are basicly the same, just the names that are different. They all have male leaders, they all have branches and sects, and they all have idiots saying otherwise. And as for your god, he exists in your head. It's that simple. And as for us beeing an expression of his, that would explain why we have such an high tendensy to racism and killing. ( but luckily we're not, so we can evolve and learn).

  • First of all I as a Judeo-Christian do not believe in murder in the name of God- any god!

  • does God believe in murder?

  • @kiekie84 Interesting comment. The Bible says not to murder, which is not the same as defending oneself as in the word, "kill." Obviously we kill for food, for example, which is not the same as murder.

  • Jesus is unique. No other founder of a religion claimed to be God and proved that he/she was. There is no other religion that offers Salvation through grace by faith. All other religions believe you must work or earn your way into "Heaven." If so, how many good works does it take? How many people reach perfection?

  • God gives way more than we can even contemplate, more than we can grasp, more than we can receive, more than we can ever hope for, more than we can ever imagine. We are human and frail at that... God gave His only Son, Jesus, to die as the punishment for sin so whoever would put their trust in Him could live forever free. What more do you want?!

  • First of all, I want you to either open your eyes or just go away. Cause you anoy me. And it's funnie, I thought we where all god's children. So am I not his son aswell? And then before jesus died for all our sins, was he planing to let everyone burn with no hope of retribution or salvation? Now thats a cind god. I think what I want is for you to se beyong the hypocrasy and realise that this was just designed to give individuals power over peoples hearts.

  • We are all "children of God" because God created the earth and people. But not all know God. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life, and no one can come to the Father except by me."

  • God and heaven are perfect, we are not. Nothing imperfect can enter heaven. Since we cannot be perfect on our own we need a Savior to help us. We need forgiveness. We need a clean slate. We need to reconnect with God.

  • No one is perfect, not one. All our deeds are like filthy rags. God is a righteous judge and He does not desire than anyone perish. He loves us and that is why He sent Jesus.

  • His Salvation counts for the past and the present and the future and is for all mankind. In the past, people looked forward to the Messiah. We now look back at the same Messiah for Salvation.

  • It is vitally important for someone to put their trust in the truth. In the case of God, it is imperative to believe in the One True God. If you are a sincere seeker of the truth you will find it.

  • Anywhere in this world you can and will find individual people whose intent and behavior is about controlling others and manipulating and using others. You find this in business, churches, schools, government, and religions. That has nothing to do with the core beliefs, principles and values of the followers of Jesus. We have all experienced this junk.

  • "For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God." 1st Corinthians 1:18

  • For God has not given us a spirit of [weakness], but of power and love and a sound mind. 2nd Timothy 1:7 - It takes a strong person to admit wrong and repent of sin and receive forgiveness and true love.

  • Worship God with ALL your heart, ALL your mind, and ALL your being! Dance like David did! Praise God for this example of what it means to give your all to God in worship, abandoned to Him and not the fear of what others may think. Wow!

  • I have a question, are u pentecostal?

  • We are Christians from many different denominations from Catholic to Baptist worshiping together in unity. What makes us stand out is that we are creative people who realized we were made to worship God with the creative unction and inspiration of the Holy Spirit and within the proper boundaries of Scripture. As King David danced before the Lord with abandon and with all his might.

  • That doesnt disprove or disenable anything I said. As for your tales of knight david it is a smost things in the old testament; Old altered folk' tales from the middle east, the bibble has been both history and law book through out the ages. Its use decided by the religous autorities needs ( mostly money)

  • It shows that there is foundational unity among those who follow Jesus regardless of denominational preference. The Bible is authoritative. There is no other book in the world like it. It's "King David" by the way. There are always people in any organization of any kind that will exploit people for money. Anyone who does this is doing wrong. But even that doesn't discount truth.

  • We are Christians from many different denominations from Catholic to Baptist worshiping together in unity.

  • WE LOVE YOU JESUS

  • Wow! Could you post more! Please of this kind of worship!

  • While He humbled Himself as a man in the gospels & extends abundant grace in this time He is terrible, awesome and clearly to be revered & even feared -not to be taken lightly. The more we read of Him in the Old Testament, the more this approach of "violent praise" & worship becomes understandable and even appropriate. He is the Lion and the Lamb. We must recognize both.

  • Amen to that!

  • I can understand how this kind of worship can be difficult for some people, we worship in spirit & in truth, and that refers to our own spirit-- our own energy and strength. if we can make ourselves foolish for earthly things, how much more for the Creator of all things & Saviour of our souls? It's important to realize though that God has many different approaches to humanity.

  • Blessings and Glory and Honor to His Name... Let His Glory Fill All the Earth...

  • While we are not perfect, we at Joy Ministries do work to relieve the church of flakiness and hypocritical wanderings. We abhor the abuse of Christianity or Judaism. While we may be "misunderstood," or not "preferred," by the "religious," we have good fruit. Furthermore, we take full confidence that our praise and worship is an acceptable sacrifice to the One True God. We encourage you, to ask God to reveal the truth about "redeeming the arts" For His glory.

  • "For the weapons of our warfare [prayer, word of God, praise, worship, Godly living] are not of the flesh [sin nature], but divinely powerful [God's power and the Lord's rebuke of the enemy] for the destruction of fortresses." 2nd Cor. 10:4

  • You have to be able to discern or interpret what is going on because the things that are happening are spiritually appraised. One evening the Holy Spirit, like a mighty river, flooded in and people started getting delivered. He cleansed out muck and dry places in people's hearts- it was muddy. Soon, crystal streams to appear and the atmosphere changed. I am sure that if someone was observing w/o discernment, they may not understand. They should seek understanding."

  • Someone commented, "no offense, but i don't agree with this type of worship. i understand that you find this as simply another form of worship, and that God will find any pleasing. However, the Bible also says that God delights in an ORDERLY church. but judging by this video, this type of worship does not seem orderly at all. i just warn you, that the Enemy can deceive us in even worship also. just be careful and ask God to reveal the truth."

  • Talk about deception! I went to this person's page and found FILTH! We blocked this link. I have to say you are clever to appear "Christian," but are full of guile. Of course you don't believe in this kind of worship. You can't stand it. Honestly, I don't think you would last more than five minutes in our worship session without feeling the need for repentance and deliverance.

  • We believe spiritual warfare exists in many Scriptures and must be led by the Holy Spirit through godly and timely actions. While New Age, mystics, and the like have infiltrated the church, we find it necessary to break curses, spells, and hexes, as well as engage in true repentance from immoral sins (including sexual immorality.)

  • Do you agree with intercession (prayer)? Do you agree with shouting out the name of Jesus? Do you agree with Psalm 150:4? Do you agree with reading Scripture aloud? Do you agree with jumping for joy? In these series of clips, we combine intercession, prophetic word, Scripture reading, musical instruments, flags, tambourine, modest dance, as well as our entire beings to lift up the name of Jesus. Would God really be displeased from the combination of these things? THINK ABOUT IT!

  • I have never heard anyone speak of violent praise before this nor ever again till now.

Yes, the Lord is releasing the Spirit of Praise, a Spirit of War upon the Church. The kingdom of heaven suffereth violence and the violent take it by force. He is calling His church to be warriors. We are to war through praise, war through worship!

  • This "warring" is really prayer and heart cries to God in dance and song format. Sometimes we need to express ourselves in prayer not just through the tongue and mouth, but with our hands and our feet. Some people understand visual communication more than spoken. God is master of both.

  • This is an encouragement to the body of Christ to be strong and to stand up for God and the principles in His word. The church should PROCLAIM WAR on things like abortion, drugs, abuse, and injustice. This dance simply reveals the FIRE in our bones. We are not the kind of people who sit quietly while the world continues to kill hope, love, and joy! We cry out for spiritual awakening.

  • I want to make it perfectly clear to all watching & reading that we are NOT talking about PHYSICAL VIOLENCE. The "war" is against SIN in our lives, against powers of darkness in heavenly places, and to promote everlasting peace. We are NOT about stirring up people to hurt others who don't believe in Jesus. We love people and our message is the Gospel of Peace. No one has to die in their sin and be separated from God forever.

  • If you also hate sin, then you can rejoice with us and battle against it through prayer and faith in Jesus. Our "violent" worship is an expression (like a protest march) of standing against sins like murder, rape, abortion, sorcery, idolatry, lying, slander, self-pity, and so forth. We want to battle against sin and have more of God and His goodness in the earth. When we talk about "warriors" we are talking about champions who will stand up for truth and justice in all aspects of life.

  • During the course of that evening the prophetic word came forth, "Violent Praise," and that is something we don't hear often. Here is the Scripture that goes with that word, Isaiah 30:32, "And every blow of the rod of punishment, which the Lord will lay on him [The Enemy], will be with the music of tambourines and lyres [harps]; And in battles, brandishing weapons, He will fight them."

  • That's powerful.

  • Joy, I am in full agreement with you. Like I said before, I had never heard anyone say this - but this is something God has been teaching me for many years - since the mid-90's.

  • Thank you for the support. Be encouraged in the confirmation. Blessings.

  • I really have to point out that the enemy is NOT able to stand when we are calling out the name of Jesus and His blood which He shed to save us all! I agree that the "enemy" [satan and his cohorts and our own sin nature] can deceive. We should all fight against such. Yet, differences in preferences and opinions should not be quickly judged as "sinful," but require Scriptural investigation and Holy Spirit led discernment. When I am worshiping, I am worshiping God and God alone- this is not wrong.

  • If you had been there you may have recognized the Godly order that perhaps these series of clips don't bring for you. Since I was there and I saw the order and experienced the "fruit" first hand, I am able to fill in any gaps the video clip may be perceived to have. People are delivered at the Joy Conference, set free to worship with all their heart, and able to use the gifts and talents God has given them for God's glory.

  • SCRITPURE STUDY: [Hebrew Root] HILIYKAH: A walking, procession or march, a caravan or company. Psalm 68:24 & 25 | [Hebrew Root] HALAL: To make a show, to boast, to be clamorously foolish, to celebrate. Psalm 86:12 | [Hebrew Root] KARAR: (as in "dance like David") to dance (whirl); to go or more in a circle. 2nd Samuel 6:14 | [Greek Root] EXALLOMAI: To spring forth, to leap up. Acts 3:8

  • Jesus will come again and wage war against His enemies. The greatest weapon of "Spiritual Warfare" was Jesus dying on the cross, taking the keys to hell, and resurrecting three days later. Our greatest weapon of warfare is "the blood of Jesus." Nothing is more powerful and pure than the blood of Jesus.

  • This is really great. I don't think telpat has actually heard metal music!! This is so not metal. I like on a varying ethnicity. Such a nice break from church organs eh? =)

  • This freak me out. I do not see a different between this on a hard metal rock concert. Is this what Holiness is, REALLY ?????

  • This is an intense prophetic and intercession, which is an aspect of many valid forms of prayer and worship to the One True God. You need to have a basic understanding of the prophetic or intercession, to understand this video.

  • This is AWSOME!

  • In answer to your question, one of the biggest differences is we are worshiping God, not man, not rock bands, not our own desires, not an unholy spirit or false god. We are being moved by the Holy Spirit-praying, praising, and communicating in a creative way by using voice, dance, music, tambourines, and flags.

  • Think about this, if a person yells at a rock concert and yells at a praise gathering, is yelling unholy? Neither the act of yelling is holy or unholy, but the motive of the heart and the words one is yelling can be holy or unholy.

  • You cannot simply judge or discern things based on your own experiences, preferences, opinions, or similarities you might see in the world. The Bible says that you have to wait for God to reveal through the Holy Spirit the truth of a matter. Everything we do is decent and in order and moral.

  • Here is something else to think about, did the Church come first or the rock band? Isn't it possible that the sin nature of man takes what is good from the church and taints it for selfish desires? Christianity teaches us that satan, the father of lies, has no true creativity within him so he has to copy and distort the things of God to meet his own end. We have nothing to do with satan and he has nothing to do with us!

  • Anyway, if this kind of thing is not for you, that's okay, we just encourage you to do the type of worship that connects you to God. If you are used to singing out of a hymnal or raising your hands while singing, it's good as long as you have a personal relationship with Jesus. The most important thing is that you are connecting to God in worship.

  • Lastly, this is our act of worship and sacrifice of praise to the Living God, Creator of the Universe, King of Kings and Lord of Lords (All descriptions of who God is.) Ultimately, it is only HIM we need to please.

  • Praise His Holy Name!!!!
