  • sad person, very sad

  • Nice, but still not what I was looking for.

  • id give a dollar to the first one for sale that can do real work say gen rate elec or gen steam quiet right now .john k 12 2010

  • What do I have to learn from this boring video ?

  • he,in no way, said it was "free energy motors lololololol".

  • One problem with that design. It will still take a currently used source of energy to power it in the first place. Your hand moving up and down could one day be a machine. But how will that machine move the magnet up and down?It will take gas or electric power to move your hand. Other than that flaw it would work.

  • @BluLetters still it makes one wonder if the spinning could turn a generator fast enough to power a machine that did the work his hand is doing. science says no, because you'd have to have 100% efficiency, and that's not possible with the friction inherent in a system with moving parts. and even with 100% efficiency it would still be useless, because if you tried to extract energy by powering a car or even a light bulb you'd not have enough to keep powering the 100% efficient motor+generator.

  • @gragonamt, thanks for that. I was just making a motor with out electric power. Plan and simply.

  • we trying to produce energy with megnatic motor, what r u doing here !!!?

  • I don't get why some of you people dis this video, I was just making a video and wanted to post it. If you don like it don't post a comment. Have a good nite/day

  • @sethoherin187 I don't get it either, magnet motors are very common, unless you intended this as a demonstration of a perpetual energy machine, which you gave no indication of that being your intention, you just demonstrated a highly simplified concept of a run of the mill electric motor.

  • @sethoherin187 Playing with these magnets will lead to a search for overunity, perpetual motion, and free energy. This is exactly how I began researching these fields. I was looking for a relationship, or reaction between different magnet arrangements. People will attack anything outside of the box; don't be affected, they don't even know why they are attacking you. People just have a hard time responding to different ways of thinking sometimes. Help them.

  • watchin all these videos I have figured out how to make a perfect self motor Ive seen alot of them here but they are all missing one thing. in the next few months check out my profile.

  • @grumptouis Uh....yeah....so you say to check your page in the next few months for your invention....yet that was 3 months ago, and all I see uploaded on your page is some clip with an animated creature that looks sort of like 'Babe The Giant Blue Ox'-if he was a Minotaur! .......so where is this big break through you were talking about?

  • @henrykay01 Ya know maybe someone would be willing to invest in your "breaktrhough energy source which violates the law of conservation of energy".....If.....oh, I dunno......you would actually POST a clip of the thing, or something?!?!? LOL! I mean you have this same spam sent to a ton of clips on YT suggesting you need 6-million to make a prototype....but why should anyone, belive you ?!?! I mean, honestly you need to post a proof of concept vid or something, if you expect $ LOL!

  • Guys, there are laws of nature. It's impossible !

  • @bartdereu I am sure the same thing was said about personal computers, the combustion engine and many other inventions that were taken for granted this century. Strive on inventors and keep creating.

  • lol

  • pulse motor boring

  • jajajaja.......es una paja magnetica...

  • i suggest to make an artificial hand powered by wind and a fan and make it go up and down very simple and might work, please dont mock ppl who r trying hard to free you.

  • faster faster faster!

  • It's just a learning science experiment with magnets. No physical laws violated. A lot of fun but nothing new to learn. Enjoy, but don't spend too much money on these toys.

  • Nope.

  • And which machine powers the hand moving up and down? Sorry, failed...

  • holy shit hes done it, a hand powered magnet motor

  • This is using Hand wave motor , u need "Drinking Bird toy " to help u out kakakaka :))

  • I'm working for a simple magnetic motor using some belts, cogs and a crankshaft. The same as this pulse motor but stimulated by a 'piston" magnet!!! it is that possible?

  • Now what you should do is take a CD player diode (still connected to the player) put it underneath the disk and then do that and read discs lol.

  • my magnetic motor will beat that piece of shit. all i need to do is turn the switch on and sin the rod and it doesnt stop till i turn the switch off

  • brillant

  • How about you turn on some lights next time so we can actually see something...

  • You can see what is needed. You see him pumping his hand up and down to make the thing spin. What more do you need?

  • What more do I need? How about some clear videos instead of all of the grainy dark crap people upload. I'm not saying what he's experimenting with isn't worth while, I'm saying upload shit we can actually see!

  • What I am saying is that what he is doing is waving a magnet up and down to make a disk spin. The video has completely served its purpose and has shown what he is doing. Why should he waste his time further documenting that you can make a disk spin? It isn't like this is some sort of surprise or is in any way useful or anything like that.

  • Handmotor aber kein selbstständiger Magnetmotor wie meiner....

  • My spacecraft runs off magnets and dreams.

  • @Yousignhere Must be nice, mine runs off pixie dust and positive vibes.

  • @Yousignhere My spacecraft runs on two asymetrically fluxing hydroelectromagnetic wave generators, guided along the outside 'skin' of my ship by a specially shaped standing wave of dielectric tension developed by a series of extreamly high voltage, and high frequency AC pulses.....but I am intruiged by your 'magnets and dreams' propulsion method.....we should discuss this further!

  • Gosh golly geee... harsh? No that would if I said they were retards, morons. I'm pointing out the obvious you dolt.

  • Do these people who make such devices not see how easy it would be to introduce a cam that would run of the disc shaft and take the place of his hand???? I mean really...

  • Gosh, he is just showing basics of how it would work, no need to be so harsh.

  • The video is a couple of years old. By now the maker has gone on to other things like trying to fly by flapping his arms up and down.

His arm is the energy source that makes it go. This means it is very inefficient. A simple electric motor under the disk would work much better.

  • well there is a famous guy in history who was quite intelligent and is known worldwide today as one of the greatest inventors EVER. he believed that with a simple invention a person could fly as a result of "flapping his arms up and down". this man was Leonardo da Vinci.

so without knowing it, you just admitted that this guy is pioneering technologies that are possible. including magnet motors.

  • You mischaracterized da Vinci. He suggested stuff that in many cases may have worked and did this based on actually having made measurements and understanding how things really worked.

The disk in the video is being spun by someone moving his hand up and down.

  • thats because he is observing one way that something like this could occur. learning about magnets so they can perhaps find a way.

didnt da Vinci do the same thing with his observations of water flow around different objects?

  • He isn't learning about magnets he is fiddling about with them. He isn't making a measurement of any real kind. He could go get some good books from the library and see what has already been tried. You could look at the problem and try to break it down and come up with a theory. He isn't. He is just waving the magnet up and down and making the disk spin. He has demonstrated nothing of interest.

  • The guy in the video most likely has a mind even more closed than yours. The fact that you believe that you still a "magnet motor" is possible indicates that you have a very closed mind indeed. If you had an open mind you would have looked at some of the science and done a little math and just a little logic on the subject. There are several proofs that no such thing can happen in this universe.

  • Start with just two poles and move them with respect to each other. Notice how the force between them only depends on the current positions. Remember that the "times" in work is force times distance is in fact the "dot" operator. As a result, any time the two poles get back to their starting places, the total work must be zero.

When you have more than two poles, the forces can be calculated by taking the poles in pairs and adding the results.

  • so you know that work is being done until the "gate" is reached. well what if that work were set in motion, a different system that did more work which reset the first cycle that was done by overcoming the gate. this would continue until the magnets died. that proves that it is not perpetual motion cuz the source of the force eventually depletes. not much different than a gas engine.

  • There is no way to get the magnets back to the starting place without putting back in any energy you may have taken out.

The energy content of the field of even the strongest magnet is much less than a zinc carbon battery of the same size. B^2/2u doesn't come out large enough to matter.

Start with thinking about just two poles get a grasp of what really happens with the force and then build up from there. You will see.

  • хрень

  • why doesn't everyone buy some bloody magnets and help?

  • The video clearly shows him pumping the magnet up and down to make the disk spin.

Instead of buying magnets to help him spin the disk, why not just buy a small electric motor for him to mount the disk onto. If one person did this, we wouldn't have to all take turns pumping the magnet up and down to keep the disk spinning.

I don't see why keeping this little disk spinning is so important to him or to you but obviously it must be.

  • Imagine if that thing kept spinning on its own. we could connect it to a generator (and electric motor) to produce free electricity. But unless theres a way to sheild one side of the magnet poles it wont work. :(

  • Imagine I had a pet unicorn. We could put it on a treadmill.

If you think about what shielding really does, you will see that it doesn't help either. It is like a bunch more little poles get added to the situation that direct the "lines of force" to go some place they normally wouldn't. We have already concluded that no collection of poles will work so this added bunch more can't help us.

If the goal here is to make energy, why mess about with stuff we know can't work?

  • Cant argue with that.

  • i am :)

  • impressive but what going to power the magnet moving back and forth?

  • Thats Not a magnet motor. He is just pedaling it to make it spin.

  • Every video like this gets attacked. No one wants to be fooled, so attacking it as a fake is normal I guess. However, the Earth's magnetic field can cause opposing magnets to spin with the right application. I want all these guys to continue experimenting.

  • I agree that people attack its its kind of lame, but this thingy he's got is not a motor. if it can stop by his finger touching it, then I don't thing a generator touching it would keep it going... he would have to do more pumping than he would be getting the generator going.

  • @Braintap I agree with you. This is not "impossible" and shouldn't be dismissed as false B.S. The lengths we go to, to make power, are ridiculous and only make money - probably by those who have spent years being taught. Agreed - these obvious things must not be ignored.

  • @Braintap

there all doing the same failed experiments, i want someone intelligent to create something that works.

  • @GGAlice1 check out "John Searl". He created a real one and others have used his his work.

  • Lets see. How can I make my toy pin wheel I got at the dime store spin? I can blow on it. I can spin the blades with my finger. Or I can stick thumb tacks through the blade tips and then, using Mommy's magnet off the fridge, I can make it spin by moving the magnet past the blade tips real fast. A simple experiment for the simple minded.

  • Instead of your hand doing the up and down, get a few gears to make it do it itself after a few rotations.

  • What I would call a "real" magnetic motor would be a self contained system that does not require external force to keep it going aside from a catalyst to provide the initial push to get it started. Perpetual motion is the golden egg these motors hint at.

  • your idea is very well ,but how about real free energy. whatever i vote for you. keep go on

  • are you masterbating?

  • No offence meant, Seth, but if you're going to advertise a "real" magnetic motor, there wouldn't be such low light and a hand bobbing another magnet... It's as "real as the loser who made the video, and I personally would associate myself with someone elses fraud... Just some advice.

  • how is make ? made ? which use meterials ?

  • what the fuck are you talking about. Where are you from?

  • think this

temp, but the motor are you, by you hands, you make effort, not the disc, nice attemp

  • I'd like to invite all magnet motor inventors to unite that we may have shared ideas about this concept and to strengthen the concept itself to create a free energy world. Free energy does not mean perpetual motion. By 'free energy,' we refer to energy systems that tap into inexhaustible, ubiquitous, and clean sources of energy generation, such as solar, wind,

  • tide, and geothermal, but also non - conventional avenues such as zero point energy, radiant energy, cold fusion, and magnet motors.I've already created a forum on yahoo where I have posted my idea concerning the MOTOR/GENERATOR combination. Contact me if you're interested.

  • well...who said we cant achieve close to perpetual motion? i'd love to join your group but i'm a lone wolf :P

  • That's ok, everybody's entitled to their opinion or decision.

  • Magnetmotor in Handbetrieb

  • its cool, but theres no difference between you spinning it with your finger and using a magnet to do that for you. you're still using your man power to spin it.

  • is it not possible to have something along the lines of a cam that is driven by the spinning wheel to make the same motions as his hand? Wouldn't it be able to spin itself then? Assuming you could make it in such a way that it was very easily moved by the spinning wheel, otherwise it would require more force to move than spinning would provide.

  • "is it not possible to have something along the lines of a cam that is driven by the spinning wheel to make the same motions as his hand?"

That would still require the exact same input of energy. And yes, it is greater than what can be extracted from the wheel

  • FAIL

  • Good start. If only to figure out a way to propell it from one pole to the next without the pumping action. So when started would just continue without any movement. Nice job though.

  • yes... all that would be required is a replacement of the only thing making it work with something else that will make it work, so long as that new thing doesn't use any energy. Piece of cake ;)

    (pardon the cheekiness)

  • or that new thing uses less energy then the motor produces.

  • Which is not possible, as that would require creation of energy somewhere in the process :)

  • everything that was wrong with this vid is no explanation! you made it, great! how did you make it? im sure other people would like to know... frankly i find that style of magnetic motor useless because of the constant pumping.. but still.. everything needs an explanation

  • If I gotta do all that bouncing I might as well ride a bike.

  • my bad. i forgot resistance too.

  • a real magnetic motor starts itself, then accelerates to the point of destruction. no one in the world has done this yet.

  • of course. there's this little thing called friction that prevents it from happening.

  • I'm going to do exactly what i saw. First rip off the top of a portable cd player, add magnets to random places, then hit play while moving my hand up and down with a magnet

  • the placing isnt random if he left no hole then the portions above and below would turn to be just one polarity and also he doesnt have to move his hand up and down that just supplements the energy it is creating

  • Im saying it didn't matter where he put the magnets. It looked like he pressed play and then moved his hand up and down to make it appear that his magnets made it spin. I may be wrong but that's what i think

  • it matters because if the magnets dont have a opening then the magnets will just crate a distinct north and south pole instead of creating a vortex causing the magnets to force each other away and make it spin and the moving up and down isnt nescessary but it does facilitate the spinning. So to put it simply his magnet is pushing away the mangets on the CD making it spin.

  • sun the non-believer!

  • i think i seen his hand making it spin -- anything can spind if you put that much work into it

  • Find out how this works in 'The magnet motor challenge'

  • Hey dude. I got an Idea for you. Have coils and let it provide electricity to a speaker with a magnet on it that pulses the magnet instead of you using your hand. That way you can time it right and when the speaker get electricity to it, it moves a magnet up and down at the right time

  • can't work

  • damn another reply didnt work fuck it

  • that's cool now get it moving without it involving you putting in the energy..

  • Let's try to explain it this way. Imagine taking two rocks. You tie a string between them and then you notice that when you pull on one of them the string makes the other one move too.

Now use magnets instead of rocks, and you don't need a string. But it's still your hand that's providing the energy input to make the other magnet move.

Wake up and smell the laws of physics!

  • How bout making a motor powered from... MAGGOTS?

  • Kid...I don't think you get the idea. Anybody can make what you've displayed here. The trick is to make it work by itself forever with no interference from your hands.

  • technically, the only thing limiting the speed of the motion is precision. Near the start, you can see the magnet with improper timing, almost stops the motion instantaneously. Imagine this large scale, with the precision of today's computers, in a vacuum environment. limitless energy anyone?

    ** did spell check... woops

  • tecnically, the only thing limiting the speed of the motion is precision. Near the start, you can see the magnet with imporper timing, almost stops the motion istantaneously. Imagine this large scale, with the precisiion of today's computers, in a vacuum environmet. limitless eenergy anyone?

  • Do you guys, the magnet motor enthusiasts ever heard of the PMDC motor or SRM Motor?

Please go and read what they are and then decide if you are inventing anything new here.

  • energy can not produced from nothing

    forget that matter forever

  • anymanelrafee, despite your completly right, I do not forget matter. At least not for energy production, since such energy is not free, but really cheap: Take fusionable elements below Fe, ignite an el. plasma, perform a well timed magnetic hyperspace transfer cycle, where Coulomb barrier decreases with 1/n^2 (n=nth hyperspace). On return, the elements fuse and energy (COP>0.9) can be harvested. Black holes do it, suns do it, Sandia does it. Google for +Sandia +"Linear Transformer Driver". ;-))

  • You're talking nonsense - the Linear Transformer Driver doesn't PRODUCE energy - it just a super switch - it channels 100 nanosecond bursts of high energy (50 GW) repeatedly for possible use in inertial confinement of nuclear fusion - the LTD is actually not especially efficient either with less than the input energy making through into concentrated energy bursts - so it's far from a free energy device by itself - and who knows if high energy fusion will ever be net positive

  • archangelchicago, where did I ever claim energy came from LTD? I wrote a Google term

to get easy access to the SNL papers. LTD-technology symply replaces capacitor+marx driver+water switch. Principle parallel charging and serial discharging through an aircored transformer. With a HV IGBT driver COP can be as high as 0.9. According to Sandias practical el./el. yield is around 800%. The system itself is NOT a pure intertial confinement. W.o. 'magic' 3E3K-to-2E9K heat up the system does not work.

  • Unlimited speed. The faster you move the stator magnet the faster the rotor turns. Wow

  • Really? Unlimited? How about what's moving the stator. Seems pretty limited to me.

  • That depends. If the rotation creates more energy then the amount it would require lower and then raise the stator, then it crates extra energy, which can be used. Otherwise, in the case that the stator uses more energy per lowering and raising then rotation of the disk, then the entire idea would be made pointless.

  • wadchado. Great idea you had to produce unlimited speed! I'll build such a motor into

my car, and you will move the magnet - up to

highway speeds. Of course, you will get gasoline price per mile. Still wow?

  • now you just need to figure out how to not use energy (moving that top magnet) to do it

  • I'm sure if he left it suspended on a vibrating string he'd have solved the problem

  • Amazing

  • sweet 5/5 maybe u can put a lever that swings the magnet up and down as it spins, that would be cool :)

  • hey guys! we can use something constantly moving say, vibrations from noise, or even a breeze, or flowing water, anything else...

    nah! was jst magining things..

  • Oh wow. this is amazing. who knew that if you put magnets on something and pushed, it would move. As the magnets are the main usual item there, it MUST be because of them. Not the pushing, the magnets.

Why oh why has no-one ever come up this brilliant idea before Ill never know.

    0*

  • if the energy created is the energy you used to push the magnets together = 0 out put

    Nice try

    ZD

  • hahhahahahahahah

  • Very interesting. This technology could be used on a bicycle. Even if the motor is not 100% efficient, since the bicycle wheel will be turning anyway, the faster the bicyclist peddles the more energy he could get from the motor. The motor would give a slight "kick" each time the bicyclist peddles.

  • Nothing on earth is 100% efficient. Also what you're thinking of is useless as most of the energy you create will be wasted through friction and won't provide enough turning force (torque) to give you that "kick". Also having a generator on a bike would make it harder to peddle because there will be more friction and not enough power to make up for it from the generator.

  • you could set it upright and it wont need to use friction much.

  • Ok.. I just randomly came cross this video. To all those guys down there talkin shiz about this: obviously have not made the same configuration. I actually did something very very similar to this and got the same results. Granted you have to pulse your hand up and down.. but that can be done with excess energy from the motor. Why does everyone have to be so negative??? We NEED things like this. Do you really want to pay $3.25 + for gasoline?? Come on.. :)

  • Oh.. and to the guy saying it doesnt have torque or load. You're right, that one is not that powerful.. probably just about as much as a tiny dc motor. But if you up grade the system, use a little different configuration, and use large rare earth magnets it would be as powerful as the combined pulling force. You can buy 2 inch wide rare earth disc magnets that can pull 175 lbs. That would be like 350 lbs of pulling force.

  • $3.25 for gas? Where do you live, because I'm coming for a visit...

Seriously though, you got it man. It doesn't take anything to be negative.

I've always wondered who reads these posts. How many of these 'comments' are from 'the powers that be' just trying to discourage us?

  • It just reached the equivalent of $10 a gallon here in the U.K.

Stop moaning and buy a smaller car!!

  • ill stick with solar cells

  • Sorry but a real magnet motor would run itself

  • really?...Why?

  • well... yah.. just think that the human arm is actually a robotic mechanism then yes... this thing would run itself

  • Another perpetual driven system.

  • the fact that you can stop it with one finger indicates that it has very little torque or load. it will need alot more as all generators produce back torque.

  • if you had a system that would connect those magnets that you are moving up and down to the center of the spinning disc on a guide (much like the valvetrain on an engine with valve timing) and you timed the mechanism to lift up and push down those magnets right at the right time then it has potential to be revolutionary...

  • yea tell me about it, thats the future of car engineering

  • Ever notice videos that make outrageous claims ALWAYS have poor lighting?

  • LOL true true

  • aarghahaahahaha

  • has huge possibility

  • The best example of free energy would be the Sun.

Until the government figures out how they can tax it.

Remember, Every action has an equal and opposite government programme.

  • "Every action has an equal and opposite government programme."

    That's awesome.

  • Had to comment on the phrase "Every action..." as well...I will be stealing that one...;-)

  • they already figured it out see my videos

  • Insightful comment. Completely agree.

  • this is NOT an example of free energy, the person moving the magnet is suppling all the energy to move the rotor by moving the magnet... lfgamer you should figure out what your trying to prove to be true before you post stupid comments calling others retarded. Free energy is when more energy is produced by the system then is put in to it. This is not free energy

  • well if you can find strong enough magnets and a heavy enough "turbine"...momentum will do the rest. make something that looks like a treubutche(forgot spelling...but a catapult like thing) that can go a continuous 360 degree angle and add weights to the bottom and add a magnet that has a magnetism rate that is higher than the turbines...it may take the force of about 2.87 pound push from an above 90 degree angle...but tht is the perfect perpetual energy...but we have yet to cool it.

  • thebellmaster u are retard has a pig! this is an example of a free energy... chek other videos of more complex magnetic motors u dumb fuck...

  • Turn the damn lights on when making videos.

  • WT!!!?

  • maybe if you replace your hand with a mechanism power by the spinning disk to move the magnets up and down.

  • LMAO, you are providing the energy with your hand.
