  • All three, Charliebanfield, scaramond and LJB0601, have Shokk Rokk as their favorite and all of them give unconstructive criticism. A coincidence? I think not. Then again this is youtube and you cannot expect a sensible comment.

  • Shame SHOKK were running an unskinned and barely modified version of stepmania. Plus their dance mat area had massive screen glare hehe.

Their dance mat product was no-where near the quality of iDance of PIU Pro multiplayer unfortunately. But they did have a kick-ass pole game, and awesome dancers (real dancing).

  • Just heel-toe the bastard all the way, it's not even stamina based.

    heel toe is dreadfully boring.

  • They didn't show standard chart.

  • Other than the beginning with the doublestep the chart looks fine.

  • Whats the BPM ?

    Who made the steps ?

    So far I like Idance.

  • its no vertex^2

  • holy shit

    that expert chart is terrible

let's just drop some 16ths all over the pad in no real pattern

  • You could barley hear the music. The 16th steps are on step and in a pattern.

  • I could hear the music.

They may be "on beat" and "following something" bu that doesn't mean they have to be there.

They follow no real flow - the physical patterns of arrow placement are seemingly random - there is not much left/right movement balance at all.

  • I understand now, I just played Vertex Expert and I was listening to my feet taping (AfterBuner pad) and I heard some things I felt didn't need to be there.

  • That isn't my main problem - yes, the notes are overabundant for the song at hand, but the problem is the left/right balance and patterning - there is no real movement pattern, it is just arrows that you can hit one foot after the other.

  • I think I know what you mean. But all I know is that these patters tend to get a bit TOO random.

  • With the impact pads it's hard to bracket rape, so to speak. At least that's my own experience from the pads. Granted, the facing is more to the right than on the left, but whether it's a problem is a matter of taste, really.

  • I wasn't talking about any kind of bracket raping (as much as I don't agree with it), so that's not really on topic.

A chart should have movement with the music, not just facing you in one direction and throwing down arrows to whatever sounds apply.

  • its just a shame that 90% of idance is exactly like this and they made some very silly errors in judgement with some of their decisions (using 32nds on we met dat night pt2&3 ?!?)

  • That's quite a jump between beginner and hard.

  • They didn't show

  • that chart is stupid.
