I always wondered how steel guitarists (prior to like 53) managed 4 necked steels. I've heard the pedal steel is even more difficult.

A Remington Steelmaster is the way to go.
I have a few steel guitars, but my Steelmaster is the one I take to live shows. It sounds and looks great and always stays in tune.

The best VP is a Hilton. They're a bit pricey, but you'll never need another one.
