the reason for the bases is only because the military personnel spend billions of dollars in the towns where these bases are located and so they get jobs and make huge profits from the military establishments existence and growth. IMO, turn these military bases into cultural and trade centers. The US needs to learn more about life in other countries anyway. Soldier that go into the military for education usually come from poor income famalies or other situations that would have inhibited their ability to go to college. @junkers1337 You know I ased a question before on whether or not the natives in these tribes follows the laws of citizens in nations states like you and me . Which of course it isnt because many governments like India have chosen to break off contact with some local tribes that live near the main land on smaller islands . And so if that's true then these ppl ARE basically free to follow the rules that exist only in their own tribal structure, laws that they themselves make up .

@junkers1337 Many of the reasons why they broke off contact was because the tribes were more or less aggressive to outsiders that there have actually been deaths from tribal attacks on outsiders to go into their land even without force like for instance a normal wildlife researcher would too be at risk . So these ppl basically live on the edge of humanity and civilization in our terms of it . That they are very aggressive and of course with very good reason .
