I spent a lot of time zipping up & down the coast in the 1980s with my North Wales explorer which cost £3 for the week & as pompeyboycat4 said, you 'can' almost taste the diesel fumes. It almost brings a tear to my eye watching this. Thank you for the memories & keep up the good work. 10/10..

British Rail was great. The privatisation of it has only made it more expensive for us to travel on the rails, and the service still isn't even that much better.

@ShadowRSonic On the other hand, we have the safest era ever - since the Potters Bar accident in 2002 there has only been one fatality for which the rail industry have been to blame!

i had a panasonic video camera,the type that you rested on your shoulder,it was ok but not a patch on hte new digital cameras.
