Thanks for letting me comment! Ritchie is an awesome guitar player, truly gifted. I grew up on Deep Purple and seen them a few times in Europe when I was there. Candice is a very gifted singer also. But it's like there is no "presence" at all. Maybe they need to sit down and refocus and come up with a whole new perspective. One person said that Ritchie lost his passion (paraphrasing) and I agree. Not his talent. it's kinda like going to the Motel 6 to hear Jimmy Page doing Perry Como covers.

I saw Deep Purple in '84 at Knebworth when they reformed the MK2 line-up.
