also i wish u could have a girl in the regular 1. idk if which 1 u have in SE is random or what, but i know that theres a cheat where u go 2 the sprites house and click on the 3 pots 100 times then you talk to flak and u can choose if u want a boy or a girl (my friend has SE and told me bout it.)
I think it's stupid that they finally added the possibility of having a girl yet they didn't give you a different girl depending on who you married....well I haven't got this edition (yet) but I already hate that part of it...they should've added that stuff in the original version anyway rather than ending up having to make a "special edition" for it

No it only works on the special edition released for the ps2. You have to talk to a voice in some pots at the harvest sprites house until it asks what gender you want your child to be. Then you can have your daughter. Too bad... i like the GC version.
