It's because us and the British only lost 11 men. I can't remember if any Canadians in the Forlorn Hope were killed. Here's the 194 years of peace as well!
@bladensburg1814 Ha,, that's a good comment,, rarely seen on here. No two other counties in the world with a 3000 mile border have avoided war like us. Got to say something for north american mentality!
No, that's not a fact. The Royal Green Jackets were formed from the later versions of the 43rd, 52nd, 60th and 95th (Rifle) Regts. of Foot. The later versions of the 49th, 62nd, 66th, 99th and others were part of The Royal Gloucestershire, Berkshire and Wiltshire Regiment until all the above and others, incl. The Light Infantry, were amalgamated into a Large Regiment called The Rifles in 2007.
Super upload and really good to watch thanks. Makes me sad though to think of all of these fit young men dying like pins in a game of bowling.

The British need to learn how to take a hit... I can't even see any casualties.

haha...i guess no one is willing to die in the first 2 minutes of the battle...travel to far for a quick death. I noticed no US casualties either.

Great show! Thanks for sharing. Nothing like the sound of a musket volley echoing across a field.
