Really nice setup; one thing I like in particular is the SAC FD badging on the bug deflector. It might not always be the cool thing (or legal) but I think badging on a POV's front is very helpful. Upper winshield banners are my preferred as long as they dont interfere with vision, but your application is great too.

robertgift, i have a few windowmounted lights and one thing you can do is use adhesive backed foam. just stick it around the edges of the light so it seals to the window or windsheild that's what i do and at night you can't even tell that they're on from the interior and it only adds 3/16" around the light. so doesn't use much space, rather cheap, and very cost efficient. hope this helps

How much light reflects back in your eyes at night from the dash-mounted light?

Other than turning it off, is there anything that can be done about it?

To lessen wind drag and looking like law enforcement, I would like to remove our Streethawk light bar and have everything enclosed.

Can LEDs be flashed simultaneously or right side / left side?

All on / all off is FAR more effective at attracting the unexpecting eye than random blinking.

When I coordinated our lights, traffic noticed and pulled over so much earlier that we use the siren much less.

Wish fog light strobes could be higher. Would be more effective flashing simultaneously.

Use strobing white, which is brightest and best at drawing gaze, and steady red, which conveys message.

Many fire departments handle both fire and EMS calls. Like mine. Im a FF/EMT. So just because he has SACFD on the hood doesnt mean there is no way he is EMS. Are YOU stupid?
