Great to find these again...I saw 'em one Friday lunchtime at Glastonbury (2000?) I'd borrowed a strangers programme to see if there was anything on worth going to 'for breakfast' , and the name intrigued me as a brave thing to do!!! On the way there (acoustic stage) I composed an ideal setlist in my head, and they played every 'request' including 'My Old School' as encore (top of the list in my head)

so obvioulsly left a big impression (and a big grin all day!!) Top work, Nearlies!!!

The Dildo is 'Steely Dan' - Its a 1959 novel called 'Naked Lunch' and is most definitley not a paperback romance !!

For what its worth - I have seen Nearly Dan on many occasions and they are truly marvellous outfit. In fact I enjoy them MORE than the real thing. They bring life, fun and rock and roll to the SD music without compromising on musicianship.

I saw Nearly dan on the carling academy and they were tremendous. A lot of tribute acts are really crap, but these are truly top of the range! Come back to Liverpool soon. PS guitar solo on peg is excellent!
