I just basically gave up trying to keep the blues influences out of my songs, and just decided about 2 years ago to roll with it. I think it was a good decision, as my sound has become much more personal since then. Thanks for the kind words.

I basically just try to take the Ray version and make it a bit more soulful, or at least as soulful as a large white man can make it. Thanks for the comment.
